Top notch gelato - real stuff, not from a mix! Also highly recommend the gelato making class with Vetulio. Fun and great with kids (mine were teens)

I visited this gelateria based on the Tre Coni rating from a major Italian newspaper. Unfortunately, I didn't find the quality I expected, compared to other gelaterias awarded by the same guide. The gelato is good, certainly with careful attention to the ingredients, but it's not exceptional, and it's prone to gross errors (many flavors have a watery consistency). A sore point is the price: €3 for a small cup, which is truly small compared to Florence standards. If you're only visiting the city for a few days, I recommend trying other gelaterias before visiting this one.

An absolute gem. Got to do the class with Vitulio Bondi and learn about what goes into making good gelato. Holy cow it’s both super simple and very complex. The fresh fruit! The flavors! Said hi to the international culinary students that he has learning from him and then tasted the gelato in the store front. The flavors were outstanding! I also learned that the aluminum lid vs exposed tubs “difference” is entirely a myth. Folks you gotta just search out great gelato. Not that it’s that hard…it’s right here at this gelateria!

Locale scelto per il punteggio recensioni e per vicinanza all' alloggio. Trattoria accogliente in un ambiente rustico ma curato. Tempi ridotti ( forse troppa) tra ordinazione e arrivo dei piatti in tavolo. Gusto buono ma non tutto bene caldo come il condimento dei pici (ragù di cinghiale). Porzioni non abbondanti. Lo consiglio solo se siete obbligati a rimandare in zona stazione centrale.

Ottima cena davvero tutto top. Personale gentile e professionale. Cibo di alta qualità..la bistecca alla fiorentina davvero top e anche la ribollita buonissima. Super consigliato

19/07/2025: Coming from Belgium, we tried Dolce e Forte last night on the recommendation of a friend who lives there and who personally took us there, and it was a wonderful discovery. The refined yet simple and accessible cuisine, the appropriate portions, and the chef's specialties won us over. The chef's visit at the end of the service to meet us was also a plus and allowed us to experience his authenticity and passion. We will definitely return to Dolce e Forte and can't recommend it highly enough. 12/06/2025: The traditional Florentine wine window is revived in this shop. A beautiful and unique experience in Florence that is worth trying. Very organized condition where you don't have to wait too long in line and the glasses are collected immediately without creating dirt.
