Trattoria Bolognini In Mapello

Very welcoming and very tasty menu

We had a family lunch and chose the tasting menu. The appetizer was a humble one, with three slices of salami (good) and three wedges of tasteless cheese. It was accompanied by three very salty anchovies. The first course was casoncei pasta, good but tiny. This was followed by a (really, very small) slice of roast beef, also lukewarm. The price was reasonable for what we ate.

Simple, authentic cuisine. Excessive noise.

The trattoria where you expect to eat well and where you'll never be disappointed! A simple, no-frills atmosphere, but where you'll be delighted by traditional flavors with a touch of innovation, making you rediscover and love them again and again. A guaranteed treat to try again and again...

We visited this trattoria on a Sunday in early November for lunch, having made a last-minute phone reservation. Upon arrival, the restaurant wasn't crowded, so a reservation wasn't necessary. The place was immediately very noisy, making it difficult to hear each other at the table. For four of us, we spent about €115 for two main courses, two first courses, two appetizers, a bottle of still water, a quart of house red wine, two desserts, and three coffees. The appetizer (a selection of cured meats) was good, but one of the first courses (tagliatelle with hare ragù) was a bit too salty, as was one of the main courses (braised beef). The other main course was a tagliata, which we had requested well-done, but it arrived rare and was returned a bit red. The staff, however, was friendly. Oh, and the desserts were very good!
