An old-fashioned trattoria, I'd say over the top, but not in terms of price. Simple, good food, old-fashioned atmosphere, and old-fashioned service—perhaps too much so. For how much we ate and how we were served, we spent a bit too much.

Unbeatable especially in summer, for its healthy simplicity, for the time machine it represents. Recommended.

Trattoria Belvedere, also known as "Dal Bela", remains one of the very few if not the only authentically traditional restaurant in Verona. Most of the dishes are prepared with products from the family's lands. An environment and a place of a simplicity that takes you back in time, to genuine and traditional flavors (don't miss the lasagnette and the boiled meat with pearà, a typical Veronese dish). Not the classic historic Veronese tavern restored and "bedecked", but truly a place where everything has remained as it was and I hope it remains so. Augusto and Antonella are always courteous and friendly managers. The outdoor terrace is surrounded by the wonderful uncontaminated greenery of the area, from which you can see the panorama all the way to the lake. On summer Sundays it is advisable to book.
