Trattoria Bel Mi' Colle In Colle di val d'elsa

Having read the recent reviews and settling on making the trip, we were met with a string of disappointment during our visit. We ordered the Tortelli, Steak and Beans. The service was genuinely existent. We were offered a table outside where we faced a wall, when there were 2 other tables available already set. As we found, neither were actually booked as they seated other walk ins after us. While the food was quick to arrive and was reasonable in taste, the steak was poorly cooked, and still with a lot of gristle. The Tortelli was quite good though. After all this the prices were 'reasonable' had the food and service been better. But in this case, it was quite an expensive meal for something that was not really reflective of the other reviews and ratings. I'll put it down to a tough night for the staff, or something else going on (ie more about locals than visitors). But there were plenty of other options in the township that would be deserving of your visitor dollars. This reads as a tough review, but genuinely felt that it just wasnt the experience we had hoped for a restaurant with such positive reviews.

Best meal we’ve had so far on the Via Francigena from Lucca. Delicious anchovy dishes (photos don’t do them justice!), friendly staff and lovely relaxed atmosphere. Filled up with locals for Wednesday lunch, so certainly felt like the place to be.

Chosen for the positive reviews, we booked for dinner (reservation is a must, since the restaurant is small..). Intimate, pleasant atmosphere. Served with kindness and attention even in explaining some dishes that, being typical of a regional cuisine different from ours, were not clear to us. We ate really well, we left fully satisfied and with the desire to return to try other delicacies.. everything super!!

Good option to have a good dinner if you are in Colle val D'elsa.🍝🍖🍷 We were there for dinner during the long weekend of April 25th and although almost all the tables were full, the service and dishes arrived quite quickly. Good food and fair portions for the price. Environment and atmosphere that are suitable for the type of place, normal service without infamy and without praise. ✅️So if you are in the area and have to have dinner I recommend it.

Real place that uses high quality zero kilometer products, absolutely recommended. The menu is wide and with non-trivial proposals. Pecorino pie, Tuscan pâté and pigeon absolutely recommended. The only flaw of the evening was that the dessert I had asked for was finished.

Excellent food! We recommend this restaurant, typical and very nice. We had a great meal and the staff are really friendly. We recommend the appetizer with chicken livers, amazing! The homemade desserts are also very good (the cheesecake is very good). When we pass through here we will definitely be back!

Ho cenato in questo ristorante insieme a un gruppo piuttosto numeroso di persone. Ci è stata destinata l'intera saletta al piano interrato, che crea un'atmosfera davvero piacevole e intima in un contesto che sembra essere d'altri tempi. Il servizio è efficiente e il personale è gentile e accogliente. Molto buona la cucina, che riesce a conciliare la tradizione con un tocco di innovazione e originalità. Da consigliare.

Siamo clienti abituali del ristorante bel mi colle , devo dire che ogni volta e’ sempre una sensazione nuova e che suscita sempre molta curiosità nell’assaggiare le prelibatezze che lo chef sa’ offrire ! Diciamo che non ci si annoia mai ! Discreta anche la scelta dei vini ! Che dire continuate cosi !
