We had dinner at this restaurant and can't say enough about it! The atmosphere is truly enchanting, perfect for a romantic evening or a special dinner. The real surprise, however, was the food: Gabriele in the kitchen manages to transform traditional dishes into true magic, with an innovative touch that makes them unique and irresistible. Each dish is a discovery, tasty and refined, but without ever losing the authenticity of classic recipes. A special thanks also to Roberta, who welcomed us with warmth and professionalism, making us feel at home. Highly recommended for those seeking a quality gastronomic experience in a welcoming and refined environment. We will definitely be back!

Everything was delicious, from the appetizer to the main course and dessert. The service was attentive and precise, friendly, and attentive, yet not intrusive. The location was very nice, with the two rooms downstairs having a truly intimate atmosphere. Excellent wine selection. We had a wonderful time, and will be back. Thank you.

This is our second time here, and it didn't disappoint. We came on vacation and were satisfied. They even have dog bowls, and we, who were with our furry friends, appreciated it. You guys are fantastic.

04/03/2026: We stumbled upon Gimmy Giò almost by chance for lunch and were so delighted that we decided to return for dinner, turning the evening into a special moment. Lunch was a true treat: a minestrone soup with rice that smelled of home, followed by tender meat pizzaiola with chickpeas and potatoes. A genuine meal that immediately convinced us of the quality of the ingredients. For dinner, we returned with a dear family friend, who moved to Bucine three years ago with his partner: it was the perfect place to gather around excellent food. We started with a rich appetizer, then moved on to a perfectly cooked grilled meat, served with mixed vegetables, potatoes, and flavorful chickpeas. We finished on a high note with the inevitable cantucci biscuits and Vin Santo, chatting in a serene and welcoming atmosphere. Michele and his staff were exceptionally welcoming at both times of the day: courtesy, prompt service, and a warm welcome that makes you feel part of the family. If you're looking for authentic Tuscan cuisine in Colle Val d'Elsa, Gimmy Giò is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

21/11/2025: We stumbled upon it almost by accident, just passing through. We ordered a platter of cured meats, which I must say was good. The osso buco was a bit less so, as it was burnt, which meant it tasted the same. The pici with ragù were enjoyable. Overall, it was good, but I wouldn't go back on purpose.
20/11/2025: A small but very traditional place, both for the food and, especially, the beers: the manager, Silvio, is an expert beer taster. He can provide information on dozens of different origins and therefore recommend dishes based on customers' preferences and chosen dishes. The dishes are of excellent quality.
