The helpfulness and courtesy of the staff were truly excellent. The food was a bit too salty and unfortunately too abundant. Those portions weren't necessary. The atmosphere was too dated.

A great find, before a foreign guest's flight. The decor and (thankfully) the menu are stuck in the '80s, authentic, no-frills, but full of substance and traditional dishes. Excellent value for the first courses and homemade desserts! I didn't get to try the second courses, but they looked well-made. Very convenient parking nearby.

Trattoria Cavalleri is ideal for a quick but delicious lunch. The dishes are simple but home-cooked. I recommend the excellent veal with tuna sauce. The quality/price ratio is excellent and the service is very friendly.

Really nice restaurant, the food is excellent, with large portions. Reservations are recommended. I loved everything about it, the staff was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend going there.

Spoiler: The food is excellent, and so much so, and I'll be back every time I'm in the area—I'm telling all my friends. We left the gym in Gorle at 3 PM on Sunday. After making a few phone calls to some nearby restaurants (already closed or about to close), we'd almost resigned ourselves to stopping for a sandwich on the highway. We made one last call before the toll booth; it was our lucky call. We arrived and, despite the late hour, were greeted with wonderful hospitality. As soon as we were seated, they brought us a baking dish of delicious Russian salad, then ravioli, then pasticcio, then veal with tuna sauce, then braised beef with polenta, then sausages, then gorgonzola, and finally tiramisu (all in generous portions). Water, wine, coffee. Everything, and I mean everything, was delicious in a casual and friendly atmosphere. We had a great time and ate even better. Veronica (the chef) is incredibly friendly, as is all the staff. Honestly, I can't wait to go back. Thank you for this wonderful culinary and human experience.

Incredible Italian food! The restaurant was closed at 16:30, but they didn't let us go without eating something... they had only a great lasagna and a great tiramisu and a great coffee. Thank you for their authentic atmosphere and hospitality.

12/04/2026: Highly recommended. Truly authentic and wonderful Italian hospitality. We simply ordered the set lunch menu. Primo was a pasta dish with tomatoes and mussels, secondo a platter of meat and a fried soft cheese for my boyfriend, and a steak with potatoes for me. Afterwards, we had a coffee, all for just 13 euros. More than worth the price.
07/04/2026: Trattoria like it used to be, with plentiful food without sacrificing quality. I had lunch here with a fixed-price menu in line with other trattorias or restaurants. Trattorias are a heritage worth preserving.

On a beautiful summer evening, a long time ago, a thin crescent moon shone in the sky, peeking out from between the clouds. A wolf sat on top of a mountain, howling incessantly. His howls were long, repetitive, and desperate. The moon, the silver queen of the night, was annoyed and asked why he was complaining so much. The wolf replied that he had lost one of his cubs and was now desperate to find him. The queen of the night, sorry but eager to help, decided to illuminate the entire mountain so that the little wolf could find his way back. So it swelled until it became a large, luminous disk. At that point, the wolf found his cub, shivering with cold and fear, on the edge of a precipice. He grabbed him in time, held him tightly, and thanked the moon infinitely. Then she and her little son walked away into the vegetation. The woodland fairies, moved, decided to give them a wonderful gift: once a month, the moon would become a large, bright globe of light, visible to all, so that all the cubs in the world could admire it in all its splendor.
