A little off the centre of the old city, which turns out to be a good thing. We were there at lunch and the place was buzzing! Food was legit and the pace of the service was pulsing with energy, quite unlike anything I’ve experienced so far in this trip. Read about the place as we waited for our food, it’s rich in history and they try to retain the old style cooking and ambience. Loved it!

A traditional and welcoming restaurant (for me, the old-fashioned cloth tablecloths and napkins are a real plus), with a vast menu selection, and the staff is truly friendly. We've dined there several times, and every dish amazes me, both for its deliciousness and the generous portions! If you want to savor authentic traditional Tuscan cuisine, I highly recommend it! I knew it when I pulled up in front. It was a typical Tuscan restaurant. A fantastic experience. Tortelli with butter and sage, boiled meats, and tripe Florentine-style.

05/12/2025: When you're so amazed by an evening at a restaurant... it's hard to find the right words to describe it. I think this is absolutely one of the best places to dine in Florence today. I hope people go there and eat there, and I hope the wonderful people who run it don't lose even a shred of the love and passion they put into it. IT'S FABULOUS!
23/11/2025: Top marks! A cozy dining room filled with warm smiles and great food. The owner(s) greeted us at the door and sat us immediately, and the wait staff immediately brought us water and wine. The food was creative and delicious.

01/11/2025: Unfortunately, I've only tried the hotel restaurant, which serves excellent traditional Tuscan cuisine! Service is fairly quick (depending on the day and time) and the staff are very kind, helpful, and approachable.
