We had lunch today in this retro style restaurant and we were thrilled. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, also thanks to the excellent managers who made us feel immediately at ease. We chose the fixed menu, at a very modest price, and we had the opportunity to taste various dishes, all prepared as in the home kitchen. The sauces were fresh, flavorful and authentic — a real rarity these days. In particular, the Bolognese ragù was the dish that impressed us the most: rich, tasty, just as it should be. The service was quick but never rushed, and overall we had a great time both in terms of the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. We can't wait to return: it is a perfect place for any occasion, which combines tradition, taste and a truly genuine welcome.

After several weeks of traveling in Italy, and fine dining even in places like Venice and Rome, I found that the service here was the best I have seen so far! The staff treated me and my group like we were family, and were happy and smiling, eager to communicate in spite of the language barrier. The food was of excellent quality, and the restaurant was quiet and accommodating for a peaceful evening. I hope to come back here some day, even though I live in the States!

The best restaurant we ate at in two weeks of traveling all over Italy. The most incredible food, we had a party of 8 and shared dishes and every single one was amazing. The family that operates this restaurant is great, very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Ecco un vera trattoria: ambiente informale, servizio veloce, piatti (finalmente!) poco elaborati e senza impiattamenti assurdi oggi tanto di moda. Insomma l’ideale per una serata tranquilla mangiando in modo semplice ma bene e spendendo il giusto. I piatti, essenzialmente a base di pesce, sono ben cucinati e gli ingredienti paiono freschi. Certo, ripeto, niente di ricercato: come mangiare dalla mamma!

Era un pò di tempo che non ritornavo in questa storica trattoria specializzata in piatti a base di pesce accanto all'omonima basilica. La trattoria è sempre un pò "fanè" e un restyling non le farebbe male, oltre a migliorare l'aerazione. Per quanto riguarda il cibo i piatti sono semplici, ma ben cucinati: qui si mangia uno dei migliori piatti di spaghetti alle vongole a Torino. Sempre buone le frittelle di gianchetti, mentre ho provato degli eccellenti spaghetti allo scoglio, non sempre presenti in menù. Rispetto al passato i prezzi sono un pò più alti, ma sempre accettabili per mangiare pesce a Torino.

Simple and accurate cuisine. The quantity and quality of the starters, first courses and second courses is vast. The desserts are a little dated. The wines, white and red, are drinkable and unpretentious. The caring, almost maternal staff. Clean bathrooms. The old fashion style environment. I'll be back.

Hosted by an extraordinary family, they made me feel right at home. The service was fantastic, and the food was home-cooked and delicious. When I return to Turin, I'll definitely visit them again.
