It's a pleasant, historic place, where the atmosphere, created partly by the decor, takes you back to times gone by. The garden tables are the most sought-after. The menu is traditional and a bit too wintery; the boiled meats are exceptional, as is the attention to detail. Good wine selection. Expensive.

Perfect location, excellent mixed boiled meats with salsa verde, Milanese risotto with gremolata and osso buco. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

14/09/2025: Saffron risotto with ossobuco…the best I've ever had!
12/09/2025: Make a reservation ahead of time and ask for a table outside. The food is classic, non-touristy Milanese and absolutely worth it. The gnocchi special was bursting with flavor and the risotto alla Milanese with luganega was outstanding. The atmosphere itself is great and the dishes are fantastic, but the service was downright unfriendly and it’s a bit pricey for what you get. Even so, I’d still go back just for that risotto.
