Trattoria Aurora on Via Savona in Milan is a lovely Piedmontese restaurant in the Solari neighborhood. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the food is high-quality, and there's a good selection of wines. The service is friendly and pleasant, though a bit too fast for my taste—you've barely sat down before the delicious house flan arrives, and you haven't even had time to order a wine. I'll happily return whenever I'm in the area.

Piedmontese and Lombard cuisine in a historic Milanese restaurant. A few years ago, it was more of a trattoria and less pretentious, but now, thanks to the trendy neighborhood and the general upgrading of Milanese restaurants, prices have risen and the family atmosphere has faded. Good food, with boiled meats and desserts at the forefront, attentive service, and a charming location with a splendid garden.

A very welcoming and pleasant atmosphere, a Milanese restaurant where you can feel and see how restaurants used to be.
Typical Lombard/Northern Italian cuisine is served, and the menu is varied, including vegetarian options.

The place is truly beautiful, very charming and welcoming. We ate truly deliciously, from appetizers to dessert; the only flaw is the service: the staff were somewhere between rude, pushy, and even mock-ironic. We felt a lot of pressure even just choosing the wine. It's a shame because it deserves 5 stars and a lot of exposure.

It's been a while since I've been to Aurora, but I was delighted with the service and the excellent food. The atmosphere is always top-notch, and the braised beef with polenta is truly exceptional!

Perfect atmosphere, and it's gotten even better under the new management. Perfect service, and friendly, fast waiters. Fantastic food, and you can tell it's high-quality.
I highly recommend it to everyone; it's truly a place worth trying.
