Excellent welcome, local cuisine with highly prepared dishes and particular tastes. Absolutely worth trying.

Excellent experience....I have rarely eaten a first course as good as the cacio e pepe gnocchi with black truffle.....sublime! Excellent quality.

Una cena perfetta, dall'antipasto al dolce. Complimenti alla nuova gestione! Molta attenzione a prodotti e produttori locali per pietanze cucinate con cura. Tutto ottimo: dalle lattughe in brodo, alla guancia, alla trippa, all'agnello e al dolce. Conto correttissimo (circa 40-45 euro a testa vino incluso). Torneremo presto!

In giro nella zona di Luni siamo capitati a Castelnuovo Magra e da Armanda, locale piccolo ma carino e ben tenuto, menu notevole con varie scelte non banali e carta dei vini assortita, alta qualità di materie prime tipiche del territorio e cucina di alto livello, consigliatissimo

We stopped for lunch. The restaurant inside is really very small and there are a few tables outside. Unfortunately with the arrival of winter, I doubt we can eat outside. The service was impeccable and the dishes were really good. Honestly, we had chosen this restaurant also for the platter seen in the photos and what we received instead was really disappointing. We asked for a platter for 2 and we were brought a platter with 4 slices of fried gnocco, 4 slices of cheese, 3 slices of raw meat and a few slices of lard. In a small bowl, a cream cheese. I asked if they were therefore 2 cutting boards and I was told yes. I think something didn't work also because when we went to pay we saw other cutting boards and they largely corresponded to the photos seen previously. Honestly, the price was also excessive for such a small portion. All in all, however, we ate very well and were treated excellently.

The Armanda restaurant is a very nice little place located on the hill. Outdoor and indoor seating, quick service and friendly staff. The menu offers different choices between land and sea and the quality of the dishes is excellent. The only flaw that left us embarrassed and penalizes the evaluation is the quantity offered on the mixed cold cuts and cheese platter; a portion of two offered a few slices of salami, cheese and fried cake (provided that is the correct name given that for us Modenese it would be fried gnocco). Correct price for the areas.

Not a very large place but with a nice outdoor space with a panoramic view of the valley. Excellent quality cuisine in all dishes consumed. Good wine list. Average prices. Only complaint about the very small bathroom.

Very welcoming restaurant, beautiful open kitchen in what is a very warm place where you can breathe tradition and care for the food, spectacular snails, ravioli also for both the consistency of the pasta and the filling, lamb cooked to perfection (perhaps in In the lamb or in the snails you could taste the garlic slightly but it's a small thing)) very good bread and the one with fennel took first place among the best ones present that evening. Kind and good waitresses, the only flaw was that they forgot to bring us the bread initially and when we asked for it, they took the plate where there were still 3 different types of bread to put only the wholemeal type and took away what was left over before and that we would have eaten willingly, kind owner, we really enjoyed ourselves and breathed in a beautiful environment.
