Trattoria Archivolto Mongiardino In Genova

I liked the place; it is one of the historic shops of Genoa but, despite this, I had never happened to pass by there while I was looking for a restaurant. So let's say I found it by accident. The restaurant is in the central area although slightly away from the chaos of the main streets; in this period we eat at the outdoor tables, set up in Piazza San Bernardo, a beautiful quiet area of ​​the historic centre. Nothing to say about the service, everything was impeccable. I gave the food three stars for a "problem" with the pesto... The person who was having dinner with me took some chestnut pasta with pesto and pointed out that the pesto was bitter and had a strange spicy smell (or mint), in fact the color was not the usual green but was much darker. Long story short: the dish was eaten, but it wasn't as pleasant as one would have expected. I took a look at other reviews and no one had ever encountered the same problem, and so I assumed that it was an isolated case, perhaps due to the excessive heat of these days which may have ruined the pesto in question a little. Too bad because the rest was fine. I don't rule out returning to this place, maybe next time it will be better.

My friends and I had quite easily the best meal in Genoa here. Esther, our waitress, was very attentive and informative. She recommended the seafood pastas, which did not disappoint. We loved all of the food here and the wine was only 10€ a litre. We enjoyed the food so much that we plan to return one day 🙏🏽

A discovery like we would like to have more often. A beautiful random address in the small streets of Genoa. The pasta was just perfect, the desserts too and the wine too... In fact it was just a little magical moment in the heat of Genoa in August. A place to go and recommend.

The food is outstanding! Also the house wine red and white! We had the pasta with lobster and fish as a starter. The welcome from the owners was so lovely and they put you in a really good mood. 12/10 so you really have to eat here

Buona trattoria nel cuore di Genova. Servizio cortese e veloce. Piatti tipici liguri presi erano molto buoni!! Lasagnetta ottima ed anche le trofie buonissime! Ottima anche la torta!! Porzioni giuste!

Sono andata a cena in questo ristorante un po' per caso, notando l'insegna mentre passeggiavamo nel dentro storico. Il locale era pieno ma gentilmente ci hanno proposto di lasciare il numero di telefono per chiamarci appena si fosse liberato un tavolo e solo mezz'ora dopo ci siamo accomodate. Il locale è semplice ma curato, il personale cordiale . Abbiamo provato il metro di pesce grigliato/fritto con verdure (50 euro) da dividere in 2 , siamo Stati serviti velocemente e il piatto , oltre ad essere bello a vedersi ed abbondante , era davvero molto buono! Abbiamo bevuto vino della casa (1 LT 10 euro) e acqua e poi abbiamo concluso con caffè, Amaro e due ottimi dolci, una coppa con lamponi e panna montata sopra di cui non ricordo il nome e il tiramisù alla Nutella, entrambi ottimi. Consiglio caldamente questa trattoria sia per l'ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo che per la cordialità del personale. Se la mia recensione è stata utile, dammi un voto. Grazie :)

Trattoria hyper typique. Les plats sont excellents et en très bonne quantités. Je n’ai jamais vu une aussi assiette de fromage de ma vie

Le patron est sympa dans un petit restaurant typique Bon ensuite tout le reste est assez grossier Le mix de friture genoise J ai commande des spaguettis fruits de mer .. c est finalement des vungoles… pas grave Mais elles sont sans relief Bref h a bien mieux a Genes au meme tarif !
