Really nice experience as a solo traveler. The woman upfront was ready and really nice to speak to, with recommendations included. The food itself was amazing and I would love to go back again.

Very friendly, the food was delicious, especially the melanzane and nonna's pasta. The tiramisu was delicious. And the street was lined with authentic trattorias and a great atmosphere.

I walked in without a reservation that evening. The atmosphere was great outside, and it quickly filled up once I was seated. I've only had the T-bone steak at this restaurant before, so I can't compare it, but I really thought it was delicious and juicy. The eggplant appetizer was also quite interesting. At the end of the meal, I lost my retainer, which was wrapped in paper. The staff found it by searching through the trash. I'm so grateful!

We stumbled upon this trattoria almost by accident. It was a pleasant discovery. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The platters and first courses were top-notch. I highly recommend them.

A lovely place in the heart of Florence, a trattoria offering exquisite dishes. I tried the pappardelle with wild boar, incredibly delicious. The tiramisu is also highly recommended.

I arrived just before closing time, and they made my meal very comfortable. The basic pasta was delicious, with a hint of spice, and the tomatoes on the appetizer bread were very fresh. It was a delicious meal.

Spectacular The staff was very friendly The atmosphere was relaxed and calm. We went at night for lunch, but there was more hustle and bustle. The food was delicious, a 10/10.

Abbiamo mangiato una ottima pappa al pomodoro e i pici con ragù e funghi. Due piatti spettacolari specialmente i pici. Poi abbiamo finito con un ottimo tiramisù. Cucina ottima, servizio veloce considerando anche il giorno particolare di Pasqua. Prezzi abbastanza modici per essere a Firenze. Altamente consigliato.

Personale e titolare tutti gentili e pazienti, mangiare e vino ottimo a prezzo giusto ad un passo dal centro. Consiglio per avere un ottimo ricordo in più della città.

16/10/2025: Rubia Fiorentina was beautiful. Much larger than other restaurants. All staff are so kind and helpful. Love Carbonara with Burrata as well.
15/10/2025: The waitress was excellent. My food was exquisite. The cheese Cake absolutly wonderful. The latte Macchiato sooo good! It was an amazing experience. And the restroom in excellent conditions.

18/09/2025: Upon entering, we were escorted to one of the most inviting tables in the restaurant!😍 The atmosphere was very cozy! The service was very fast and friendly. The staff were excellent at advising us on which wine would pair best with which dish. We were also given the opportunity to sample the wine beforehand. The food was also delicious! I would definitely recommend this restaurant!
18/09/2025: TOTALLY EXQUISITE DINNER ! My wife and I arrived in Florence by Bullet Train from Rome on Sunday, March 23rd. A well appointed king suite on the 5th floor of the luxurious Hotel Berchielli would be HOME for the next 4 days. Hard to beat that view of the picturesque River Arno ! Arriving back at the hotel after lunch at a cafe across the bridge I happened to ask the reception staff for a recommendation for dinner that night...il Paiolo was the response I heard one of them say. We headed out to grab some craft beer and stopped by il Paiolo to have a look inside....very nice, our kind of intimate Italian restaurant. A very sweet server named Nina suggested we make a reservation if we planned on dropping in for dinner that evening...so 6pm it was.
