Nice place with homemade food. Didn’t try anything fancy. Staff speaks English and you find a lot of locals in there. Always a good sign. Enjoyed our night and food.

I went there for lunch today for the first time, and I have to say I had a really good meal.
The place is a classic, typical trattoria, with a small atmosphere (reservations are recommended), but not overwhelming. The staff is friendly, and the service is quick.
Given my limited time, I ordered a sliced beef steak, fried artichokes, and a glass of Chianti. The meat was very good, cooked perfectly (rare, as per Florentine tradition), and the fried food was very flavorful and not at all greasy. The wine was good, but there's a good variety to choose from.
Special mention also goes to the coffee made with a moka pot, the old-fashioned way, which I love.
I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it.

A week ago I returned to this restaurant after a year. I ate an excellent Florentine steak in a small but intimate atmosphere where I always recommend booking as there are not many tables and few dishes on the menu but of quality.

I know this restaurant is in a very touristy area, but don't let that fool you. The food here is absolutely delicious, the prices are crazy good and service is quick.
I had the pleasure of having the BEST pasta dish i had in Florence here, Pappardelle al cinghiale. I can't recommend it enough. Fresh, hearty, traditional and authentic.
Definitely give it a try.

We had a lovely lunch here. We ordered the crostini misti as an antipasti. It came with four pieces: one topped with chicken liver pate, another with some kind of sausage/chorizo, and two bruschetta.
We had the fried artichoke hearts, beef stew, pappa al pomodoro soup, and two other dishes I can’t recall. The beef stew was the highlight!
We had semifreddo and tiramisu for dinner, and they were both delicious. I especially loved the variety of textures in the semifreddo (crunchy toffee bits and pistachio, frozen and creamy custard, and smooth chocolate sauce). The tiramisu had a wonderful custard and a great ratio between custard and ladyfingers.

They're kind and friendly, and the ingredients are top-quality. Their dishes are prepared in full respect of Florentine tradition. If I ever return to Florence, I'll definitely have their Florentine steak again.
