Simple and welcoming, excellent food and authentic local dishes! Definitely worth a try and a return visit!

Good food, friendly staff. I'm not giving it 5 stars because I didn't find it fair that we ordered a Florentine steak and they didn't show us the weight or present the steak before cooking, as is usually done in other trattorias, restaurants, etc. So we paid on faith for 1.60kg of Florentine steak, which also seemed less... But who knows for sure?!

Trattoria Angiolino, a sure thing. If you want to eat mutton, this is the place for you. The penne with ragù is phenomenal. If you want to stay slim and avoid carbs, you can also eat it stewed, as it's the same one used for the pasta dishes. Unfortunately, I don't have a photo, but we also had the fried brains, a melt-in-your-mouth delicacy with a light batter that didn't ruin the dish. Last but not least, the homemade tiramisu was very, very good. Trattoria-style service, which never hurts, especially in a rustic place like this. I will definitely be back!

A fantastic dinner! I ordered an appetizer and a fillet steak, and I have to say, both were simply delicious! The appetizer was classic and flavorful. The fillet steak was cooked to perfection, tender, and flavorful. The service was also very friendly and attentive. Reasonable prices and excellent quality. I highly recommend Trattoria Angiolino to all lovers of good food.

A true traditional Tuscan trattoria. I ate the nowhere-to-be-found stewed sheep 😋 Then I had fried brain 😋. But they also have fried frogs, snails in tomato sauce, hanged beef, stewed sweetbreads, plus the usual fare: wild boar, rosticciana, peposo, warm coccoli, etc. I'll be back to explore 😋😋 Very popular, make sure to book.

Let me say... Tradition always pays! The jewel in the crown: sheep and brain! (also because we are in the land of sheep!)

Per fortuna che esistono ancora vere trattorie, dove si punta alla qualità del cibo e della sua valorizzazione. Cucine casalinghe, le chiamano, per me il saper raccontare una storia, la loro storia di cucina, di amore per i piatti, di cortesia e amicizia. Si anche amicizia, perché anche se sia la prima volta o no, comunque sei trattato come uno di casa. Tagliere di salumi, bruschette, penne con ragù di pecora, pecora in umido, bistecchine di pecora, una delizia, una gioia per il palato. Ambiente bello, vivace, puoi trovarti a tuo agio, assieme a persone che vengono li per mangiare bene e come a casa. Dire bravi non basta, perché non darebbe il giusto valore a questa cucina, a questo saper non farsi vincere da strane e al quanto dubbiose innovazioni. Si potrebbe dire, questo che scrive é un tradizionalista, fermo al passato, forse é vero, ma lasciatemi dire quale gusto migliore di un primo o secondo che assieme alla bontà ti sappia far sentire a casa, in pace con te stesso. Complimenti sarà per me un obbligo ritornarci e poter godere della vs professionalità. Buon lavoro

Di passaggio per lavoro , chiediamo consiglio su dove poter andare a mangiare a pranzo e ci suggeriscono questo ristorante. Locale semplice, tipico ma molto carino. Ci sediamo ed ordiniamo come primo: Pappardelle all’anatra (pasta fresca veramente buona così come il condimento) Penne con ragù d’asino (premetto che non sono un amante dell’asilo ma comunque l’ho assaggiate e non erano affatto male, chi era con me a tavolo e le ha ordinate è rimasto molto contento) Di secondo: Guancia in umido (voto 10, nulla da aggiungere) Pollo fritto (non male ma sinceramente un po’ asciutto) Salumi (a mio avviso non il piatto su cui puntano, ho trovato i salumi niente di speciale) Buoni i dolci (il 90% se non tutti, comprati da bindi e non fatti da loro) Servizio veloce, ragazza bionda in sala molto competente, simpatica e molto presente! Brava 👏 Tutto sommato siamo stati molto bene ! Super consigliato
