We went in the evening for a birthday dinner: excellent location near the fireplace, friendly and attentive managers, aperitifs with excellent appetizers, first courses (bis pizzoccheri and tagliatelle with wild boar sauce), second courses (polenta and wild boar or polenta and salami), apple pie, red wine from Valtellina, coffee and coffee killer... what more could you want?

The breathtaking view compensates for the difficult road and inconvenient parking, after all in the mountains you can't expect a motorway and a parking garage for cars (thank goodness)
The courses, in addition to being plentiful, are excellent, the choice is not wide especially for the first courses (3).
Satisfactory service and with the right timing.
A note of merit to the young waitress, who is very nice as well as capable.
2 starters 4 first courses 2 second courses with polenta, wine (bottle), water, 4 coffees, 3 desserts 4 bitters total: €132 (excellent quantity/quality/price ratio)

My partner and I found this place by chance, while we were looking for a restaurant near Erba. We loved everything: from the steep roads to reach it, to the view you can enjoy once at the top; from the menu on the blackboard brought directly to the table, to the wood stove that creates this warm environment.
Really homely and welcoming atmosphere, we immediately felt at ease.
Delicious and plentiful goat cheese, pizzocheri and polenta with cheese.
We can't wait to return to try the desserts

We ate on Sunday for lunch with a fixed menu. Beautiful terrace overlooking the lake and mountains. Attentive and kind service.
Good quality/price ratio. Starting/arrival point for a beautiful trek.
