This restaurant is almost hidden as it is not close to city center which is absolutely a plus. The food was great, I would suggest you to try frico and ham rolls with horseradish. (Mixed salami I do not recommend) I had a steak with iberico pig lardo, but lardo wasn't so good as I expected it to be maybe little crispy for some reason.
Dessert was excellent and I would suggest it (mille foglie with pistachio cream).

I knew the place but never had the opportunity to go, today I was walking with my wife we stopped for lunch and ate the fixed menu of the day, but with a wide choice, first course, second course, side dishes, wine with water and coffee all for 30 euros for two, good food nice girls who are quick to serve, what more could you ask for? It's clear that when I'm in the area I'll be back for sure... the only flaw is a bathroom only for everyone, men and women and if it's full you wait your turn

Nice place, attentive and friendly staff. I went with my wife and we ordered two starters of cold cuts and cheese, very good. After a barbecue for two, plentiful, good meat, too bad it wasn't hot as we Argentinians like it. However all in all, we will be back. Reasonable value for money.

Rustic place where you can eat really EXCELLENT QUALITY food. The staff is kind and professional and you can find traditional dishes with a good selection of grilled meat. If you pass through Nimis and want to eat good meat, it is definitely a recommended place

Typical place, welcoming and pet friendly (dogs are welcome!), kind, attentive and smiling staff. Our lunch was delicious: starters, first courses (they have the option of a second first course which I really like!) and excellent quality meat, cooked impeccably. Delicious house wine (we took a red) is produced by a local winery a stone's throw from the restaurant. Equally tasty desserts that round off a quality lunch in style. Even the grappas are from a local 0 km distillery. Between the place, the food and the friendly staff we found it hard to leave. We will definitely be back!

All very good. Excellent meat and very friendly staff.
The owner at the end of the evening offered us more than one bitter. Competitive prices for the same excellent food that you can taste in the structure.

Siamo tornati volentieri in questo locale che già conoscevamo da tempo. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene, dagli antipasti alla fiorentina, ben cotta e molto buona. Ottimo anche il frico ed i contorni. Spesa più che adeguata rispetto alla qualità offerta. Ci torneremo volentieri.

Siamo stati in questo bel locale storico a Nimis in, provincia di Udine.
Siamo stati una domenica sera in un’ orario “ scomodo” durante il servizio serale!! Nonostante tutto, grandissima cortesia dei titolari e dei collaboratori di sala!! Pietanze molto ben curate con un’accurata selezione delle materie prime!
Il locale propone una vasta scelta di carni di manzo alla brace ( da notare che è riconosciuto come locale con presidio della razza Chianina), selvaggina e sapori tipici della tradizione locale!! Consigliatissimo
Conto più che onesto!!
