A fantastic experience that I highly recommend to those who want to relax in an environment surrounded by the mountains of Friuli, peace and tranquility, combining proximity to many places easily reachable by car, the border with Austria is only 20 km away. Beautiful rooms, all wooden furniture, like a mountain house, excellent cleanliness, kindness of the owners who have always given us very good advice. The cuisine at dinner is also good, with specialties from Friuli, where there is no shortage of trout (the structure is next to a farm). In short, one of those magical places that remain in your heart.

Immersed in the mountains of Carnia in La Trute you can find smoked trout and high mountain char. Simply delicious, the family service and the enchanting place. If you are in the area it is worth making a purchase.

We stayed 3 days with friends, having dinner every evening. We tried various dishes, the trout in every version was delicious! Ideal with children: there is a space inside with many games.

I came across this restaurant which, offering fish raised by themselves, is of an excellent standard. They currently offer this service, à la carte, combined with the rooms which, being few, guarantee, together with the very isolated and quiet position in the greenery, absolute relaxation. Friendly and discreet owners, rooms as excellent as breakfast. Strategic position for the nearby spas or for skiers. Very recommended!

Really nice little hotel, in a very quiet area. Typical but new furnishings, everything very clean. Warm and welcoming environment. The owners were extremely kind and welcoming, even though we had to check in late at night, they welcomed us with a smile and a hot herbal tea. If we were to find ourselves in the area we would be happy to return here.

Really nice place! Beautiful, characteristic, clean and well-furnished rooms and common areas. In total peace and in an excellent position for visiting the surroundings, zoncolan and so on. Owner helpful and kind. Excellent breakfast, sweet and savory. To be recommended and to return, next time we will try the restaurant we have heard good things about. Well done!!!
