Trattoria Alle Trote In Sutrio

Outstanding accommodation. We (seven scooter riders) stayed at the "Alle Trote" for two nights in July 2025. We received a very warm welcome and were well looked after. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are state-of-the-art. Since the weather was very bad, we were given a drying room (boiler room). The food is very good; I especially recommend the trout dishes from their own farm. It couldn't be fresher. The hosts are all very friendly. After years of not coming to Trattoria Le Trote, the biggest surprise was that the quality is still there. I'll be back.

Very nice, family service. It was raining and the lady suggested that we park our motorcycles under the roof, great! Delicious dinner from the menu after 7:00 p.m. The room is spacious and very nice, large bathroom. Good breakfast. I recommend!

Small hotel, great welcome. It's a secret I'd like to keep to myself and my friends, but honesty dictates that I make it public.

Very nice location, quiet, you can only hear the murmur of the water next to the house. Very nice and clean rooms, friendly staff. Breakfast could be a little more plentiful. The accommodation is not air-conditioned, but it can be ventilated well.

A fantastic experience that I highly recommend to those who want to relax in an environment surrounded by the mountains of Friuli, peace and tranquility, combining proximity to many places easily reachable by car, the border with Austria is only 20 km away. Beautiful rooms, all wooden furniture, like a mountain house, excellent cleanliness, kindness of the owners who have always given us very good advice. The cuisine at dinner is also good, with specialties from Friuli, where there is no shortage of trout (the structure is next to a farm). In short, one of those magical places that remain in your heart.

Immersed in the mountains of Carnia in La Trute you can find smoked trout and high mountain char. Simply delicious, the family service and the enchanting place. If you are in the area it is worth making a purchase.

We stayed 3 days with friends, having dinner every evening. We tried various dishes, the trout in every version was delicious! Ideal with children: there is a space inside with many games.
