Whenever I'm in Genoa visiting my son, I always return to this restaurant for its fantastic Ligurian food. This year, I found a lovely new waitress, and the service has even improved. The atmosphere is classic, like a local trattoria, very welcoming. Plus, it's in a great location. Highly recommended.

I went there for dinner. The place is a bit small, but they also welcome groups. The food is good, the price is reasonable, and it's a true trattoria. The acoustics are a bit terrible, but otherwise, it's truly excellent. I recommend booking.

Received us without reservation. The food was very good, home style. Like a lot the tuna salad, the crunchy octopus and mostly the black trofie with tomatoes and squid!

We ordered a bottle of water, a beer, two plates of streppe pasta with pesto, and a panissa (€37). The first courses weren't bad, just average. The panissa was very greasy, and we liked the pesto less than others we'd tried in Genoa.
The first course came in two small bowls; initially, we thought they'd run out of plates, but then it turned out to be the standard dish. The atmosphere was a mix of homey, dusty fake plants.
Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but we wouldn't repeat it.

I rarely give 5 stars.
It's been decades since I've been to this restaurant. A couple of nights ago, I brought three friends from out of town.
For appetizers, we had panissa, fried cod, grilled squid, and Recco-style focaccia. Their trofie with pesto (I didn't try it), but the pesto looked delicious. Then we had mixed grilled and fried fish, and crispy octopus with potatoes. For dessert, apple pie.
Everything was excellent! Clean place and friendly staff. I can't wait to return.
