We had dinner one evening during our holiday, a genuine, family-run place. The manager is very kind and is ready to respond to the dietary needs of all his guests. Excellent value for money!

Best place in town! As a tourist, I had never heard of this place. But i decided to take my wife there to celebrate her birthday, it couldn’t be any better! We had FIVE course combined and they were ALL perfect. Restaurant staffs were so friendly too. Wish I could take this place to my neighbour. At last but not least, it’s not every where you can pay only 1,50€ for a glass of wine/prosecco.

…gli antipasti gratinati, gli spaghetti allo scoglio ed i sardoni impanati…buoni anche i dolci…menù essenziale ma tutto freschissimo e ben cucinato…servizio molto gentile ma professionale! Locale assolutamente consigliato…..

05/02/2025: Amazing cocktails - I recommend Oro and another Japanese inspired one with miso which is phenomenal. Sebastiano on the other hand is a certainty, we left him at Ca.ri.co and we find him again in Trieste in splendid shape!
02/02/2025: Nice, antique cafe in Trieste. Really good espresso, wide selection of sweets and sour foods and also local and foreign alcohol. Perfect place for a quick espresso between sightseeing around the city of Trieste.
