Summer 2024 was a highlight of our first Venetian visit. Returning this winter has confirmed that it’s our first port of call on every return trip. We can’t recommend it highly enough. A true family atmosphere from a genuine culinary culture.

A very welcoming, typically Venetian place. The staff was incredibly friendly, especially Ros, who pampered us throughout our experience by recommending some truly delicious wines, some truly special.

Excellent food. We tried spaghetti with squid ink (amazing!), bigoli in salsa (basically thick spaghetti with a sauce mostly of onions and anchovies—superb!), pasticcio di pesce (basically seafood lasagna—amazing!). Plus tiramisu (very good, but a little too much mascarpone for my taste). Space is a bit tight, but the waiters are efficient, helpful, and extremely friendly. Not the cheapest, but nothing in Venice is, and still less expensive than many others. Considering the city, the quality/price ratio is very good. Highly recommended.

We ate here years ago and I just came across a picture of my husband and I with our waiter. This was by far a highlight of our trip. We let our waiter order for us and we were not disappointed. A wonderful memorable experience we carry with us and talk about to anyone going to Venice.

Informal atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. Traditional dishes. We had lunch next to the gondoliers' table during our lunch break! Truly a guarantee!
