We ordered three dishes: squid ink pasta, fried seafood, and Venetian-style beef liver.
I took a white wine recommendation, and although I don't remember the name of the service waiter, he recommended a truly delicious wine to me...
The red wine they opened for us after running out was also very satisfying, and as for the food... what can I say... It was the most delicious meal I had during my honeymoon in Italy...
I would recommend the beef liver dish to anyone who likes liver!
Disadvantage: The plating doesn't look that appetizing.
Pro: The taste is definitely guaranteed compared to the plating!
We ate very well.
Knowledgeable and helpful staff.

For the 15 years I've been coming to Venice, La Rivetta has always been part of our journey. A historic trattoria with friendly staff and a touch of class that made you love and remember the place, the prices were fair for the high quality. The welcome at the counter was lovely, where they often offered you a glass of wine while you waited for your table; it was very kind and welcoming. Yesterday I returned after two years. Prices have gone up, and I can understand that, but what I missed was the authentic Osteria atmosphere that you could feel. The staff were friendly, yes, but too expensive for the taste of the food—fresh, I don't deny it—but the appetizer was average (a slightly bland octopus) and the seafood lasagna, basically. The wine glass is no longer available; there are choices, but perhaps a slightly more accessible wine list... anyway, I haven't found the restaurant I loved again, and for that price, you can find better.
I'm not referring to moette and scampi, I know how much they cost and I had the pleasure of discovering them right at the Rive, but the rest is overpriced.

I've been coming to Venice for many years and visit Rivetta. The cuisine has improved dramatically (and so have the prices), and this wasn't always the case. Rivetta now easily rivals Michelin-starred restaurants. They offer original, well-prepared dishes that you won't find elsewhere, for example,

Rivietta is a true hidden gem in Venice – and it's not for nothing that it's said you eat where the gondoliers stop. Not only is the quality excellent, but the value for money is also exceptional.
The cuisine impresses with traditional Venetian specialties, prepared with fresh ingredients and a great deal of care. The result? Perfect dishes that are delicious and easy on the wallet.
The restaurant itself is rather small and cozy – an authentic spot away from the main tourist crowds. Therefore, reservations are recommended, if possible, to avoid waiting times.
In short: Rivietta is the ideal place for anyone looking for excellent cuisine at fair prices in Venice – and who wants to experience genuine Venetian flair. A tip for connoisseurs and all those who appreciate authenticity.

A renowned local restaurant in Venice. This time, I ordered the famous Venetian fried seafood (Fritto Misto di Pesce), a light frying method unique to Italy, with minimal batter to preserve the freshness of the ingredients. It included zucchini, sardines, shrimp, and squid.
Although a bit pricey, the warm atmosphere and constant laughter, combined with the delicious food, more than made up for it.
Next time, I'll definitely save my stomach for the squid ink pasta (Nero di Seppia)!

Small, elegant trattoria - the recommendation of the day was excellent, accompanied by an exquisite wine 🍷 from Veneto.

Even though it was Valentine's Day weekend and Carnival, and despite our late arrival, we were given the "non-shared" table as requested by the phone. Given the number of people present, it wasn't at all obvious that we'd be able to accommodate a new customer's request. We relied on their recommendations for both the dishes and the wine, and fortunately, I might add! Two off-menu appetizers: a very fresh tuna that melted in the mouth and a plate of razor clams (soaking them in the sauce was a must!).
For the first courses, the real surprise was the deliciousness of the spaghetti with squid ink, but the crab gnocco was definitely top-notch. At the end of the dinner, we were also offered a pleasant tasting of one of the recommended wines as an alternative to the one we'd ordered. What can I say? I definitely won't hesitate to return on my next visit to Venice!
