Lunch "Invitation to Lunch 2025" An intimate yet super welcoming atmosphere, the fireplace creating a perfect, relaxing atmosphere. The flavors of each dish were perfectly balanced, the ingredients incredibly fresh, and the portions generous. The service was impeccable; the young owner was an excellent hostess, always present and attentive to guests but never intrusive. Kudos to her hard work and dedication! Excellent value, accessible to all budgets 😊 Well done 👏

Found it by chance and had excellent food. I've rarely felt so authentically at home. And to top it off, I saw by far the most beautiful restroom. Everyone has to see it for themselves! ;)

After exploring the Peace Trail to discover the sites of the First World War, we went (I read the reviews first) to Trattoria Alla Cascata. The very kind lady sat us at the table we wanted. We went outside where, if you leaned over, you could see the waterfall and the small lake forming... I recommend bringing a swimsuit if you want to dive in (and suitable closed-toe shoes, since there are rocks on the bottom). The two of us had a mixed appetizer, two first courses, and two desserts. I had tagliatelle with mushrooms, and my partner had a zucchini, provola, and pancetta flan (if I remember correctly). The tagliatelle were spectacular! The best I've ever tasted!!! I gave the service a 4 because from the moment we sat down, we waited 5 minutes or more to order water and wine (there were only us at the time). Then we had 2 side dishes (mixed salad and ratatouille) and 2 desserts, baked strucchi and a slice of homemade jam tart. I have to be honest... It wasn't the best because it was a little "burnt" and had a slightly bitter taste, although I have to say it was perfectly acceptable because the rest of the food was very good. That's why I gave the food 4 stars... Anyway, I absolutely recommend this place, and as for the tart, it can sometimes be a bit off. Overall, there's nothing to complain about. And if you have the sound of the waterfall in the background while you're eating... What more can I say?

On the road to Tolmin, Slovenia. Family-run. Rooms also available. Excellent food, courteous, and very friendly service. Right by the waterfall. Very quiet and welcoming. A pleasant stop for a delicious culinary experience. We hope to return.

We returned to this trattoria twice in three days because it completely satisfied our tastes. As we've done at other trattorias and restaurants in the area, we tried new flavors, sauces made with wild herbs, and homemade pasta—and it was done well! I highly recommend the mixed antipasto and all the first courses, from vegetable purees to pasta dishes. The side dishes are very good, as are the meat-based main courses. The atmosphere is very pleasant, close to the waterfall that gives the trattoria its name. Excellent value for money. The staff is very friendly.

Lovely in the sun, delicious food, much too extensive for us Dutch people at lunchtime 😅

Se vuoi genuinità, prodotti della natura a km 0 e riscoperta delle tradizioni questo è il posto giusto. La conduzione è familiare, pertanto ha i suoi tempi, ma qui si viene peril piacere del palato e del relax, il rumore della cascata fa da sottofondo. Titolare gentilissima e attenta. Pietanze una più buona dell'altra e tutte fatte in casa con prodotti di stagione. Complimenti, continuate così!

After a walk in the woods, we stopped for lunch at this cozy place. Gentlemen playing cards made us smile. Delicious food 😋.
