Customer for more than 30 years! This place has been amazing every time. The atmosphere was modernized, but the food is as good today as it was more than 30 years ago. I never tire of the bigoli d’anitra, braciole di vitello, and mixed vegetables and french fries. Debora has built an incredible team in the kitchen as well as customer facing. The outdoor seating from Spring through Fall is magical and unlike anything else I’ve experienced over many years in Naples, Rome, and Vicenza combined. Such a special place, special food, and above all such very special friends!

On a Saturday evening, two couples went to this place. I'd seen good reviews, but I probably had too high expectations. The quality/price ratio wasn't great (€120 for two appetizers, two first courses, a soup, a second course, water, and coffee).

Just a few minutes' drive from the historic center but nestled in the peaceful oasis of Casale, Trattoria Alla Baracca offers a well-balanced menu of traditional dishes (both meat and fish) as well as vegetarian and gluten-free options. The restaurant is simple yet welcoming and well-kept, with a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. The staff is knowledgeable, always friendly, and attentive to the needs of customers of all ages. A special mention goes to Michelle, a truly special person!

Trattoria Alla Baracca is one of those restaurants where you immediately understand the true, unreal passion. Passion for the food, for the wine, and above all for those who sit at the table. We ordered and shared several dishes, and without even asking, they were brought to us already divided: a simple gesture, but one that speaks volumes about the attentiveness and intelligence of the service. In detail: • Snow peas, carefully prepared, clean in flavor, a great start • Baked salami (typical), flavorful, delicious, one of those that clearly speaks of the region • Pumpkin soufflé, delicate but with character, truly accomplished • Coffee fettuccine with shrimp and orange, a surprising dish: balanced, fragrant, original without being forced. One of those dishes that makes you say "well done," without needing to say anything else. Regarding the wine list, a beautiful, refined, and unpredictable wine list. We ordered a Merlot, which we couldn't finish because we had to drive. No problem: they packaged it for us in a nice, thoughtful takeout box. Another sign of genuine attention, not just superficial. In closing: • 2 coffees • a very good dessert wine (I don't remember what it was... but I remember it was really good 😅) The final bill? €40 for two, wine included. Excellent value, especially for the quality of the cuisine and the overall experience. The service is courteous, natural, and never forced. They make you feel welcomed, not over-managed. And today, that's not a given. This trattoria was a fitting conclusion to our journey through Lombardy, Veneto, and Friuli Venezia Giulia. A memorable ending, the kind that leaves you feeling satisfied. A welcoming place with parking. The food is unique and truly delicious. The staff is friendly, polite, and attentive. A place we'll definitely return to, especially in the summer, given the opportunity to eat outside under the trees. Congratulations!

An old-fashioned trattoria nestled in the greenery of the river...excellent food, simple and tasty, probably made with local ingredients. I'd say the quality/price ratio is top-notch!
