Great food. Their Fettuccine Alfredo was great, and they can make it gluten-free with a spaghetti noodle. Their Tiramisu and Panna Cotta are also delicious.

Alfredo provides a traditional Florentine trattoria setting, with the warmth and charm of his southern roots! Had an excellent tagliere with a glass of rose for a light lunch. Obviously, I couldn’t resist the desserts! I look forward to going back to try his pasta and main courses - small but well chosen menu of curated dishes. Excellent quality ingredients, attentive service and comfortable surroundings. I lived in the city for a year and went to culinary school here so when I come back to visit, I’m careful to avoid the tourist spots. Pay Alfredo a visit! You’ll be happy you did.

I went to this place for dinner with my boyfriend a few evenings ago, we had a Florentine steak and some side dishes accompanied by a good Tuscan wine recommended by the staff. Fiorentina was super! They also had some delicious homemade desserts but unfortunately I wasn't able to taste them. I would fully recommend the place both for the food and the hospitality and also for the very central location Try it to believe it!

Excellent! Typical Italian trattoria with homemade dishes and very well priced. In the center behind the Palazzo Vecchio. Very friendly and polite attention. We will definitely return.

Visited twice while vacationing in Florence (Dec 2024). Food was excellent. Recommended Lasagna al Forno (creamy, soft layers), Risotto al fungi porcini (flavorful), top note for risotto with gorgonzola and nuts. Staff is friendly and provide valuable recommendation to local delicacies.

So glad we found this place while walking around Florence. We had such a great experience here on our first night in town. The owner & the staff were so kind. We ordered house wine, the Ribollita (which was recommended to us earlier in the day by a local), the pasta with tomato sauce and the pici with cinghiale ragu sauce. We also ordered the Florentine steak and it was delicious and well priced. We finished dinner with their tiramisu.

17/02/2025: La mia ragazza ha prenotato il ristorante con un anticipo di un mese e a momenti non trovava posto. Siamo stati in questo locale vincitore di una puntata di 4 ristoranti con Borghese. A mio avviso la vittoria è più che meritata. Anche se l'ambiente è un pò spartano, tuttavia tipico delle trattorie cittadine fiorentine, risulterà imbattibile la qualità della cucina, la cortesia del personale di sala e anche il conto. Se volete immergervi nella realtà fiorentina questo locale è tappa obbligata. Continuate così!
15/02/2025: La storia della cucina toscana, se vuoi mangiare una fiorentina vera e buonissima in vero stile fiorentino devi venire qui! si mangia benissimo ogni altra portata del menu, esiste ancora la condivisione dei tavoli che secondo me è cosa fantastica…. andate per credere!

We were welcomed by the owner Elio, the quintessence of Italian hospitality, and by his splendid and sunny daughter Vittoria, who brightened the evening with her contagious smile and friendliness. The highlight of the evening was the Florentine steak, cooked to perfection: succulent, tasty and so tender that it melted in your mouth. Each bite was a triumph of flavors that left us speechless. 13/02/2025: I wouldn't go back, normal quality price below. We ordered pasta and they weren't much. I asked him for bread and since the dish we had ordered was the first dish, he told me no, that I should order a second dish or pay for it separately. Inside the premises it is not a big deal, the menu is a handwritten photocopy that is not very easy to understand.
