Bravo!! The place is very pleasant, and so are the staff. The food is delicious, and the price is reasonable. As is standard in all Italian restaurants, or at least in Florence, Bologna, and Venice, there is a fixed service charge, or cover charge, in this case €2. The tiramisu is so delicious, don't leave without ordering it.

Historic trattoria that has become a point of reference for us Florentines for quality and price! Great hospitality from the host Giuseppe, a person of great courtesy and competence. Among the sea of ​​stereotyped offers of the center of Florence, a small island of peace! Well done!

A phenomenal meal for an even better price. Traditional Italian family cooking can be found here for unbelievable value. The bolognese and Alfredo were absolutely sublime with little to no room for improvement. Great air conditioned room on a 37 degree day, which was a much needed escape from the florentine sun. The staff were welcoming and incredibly friendly, they also spoke great English, even though we were in their country. We will be back again and cannot wait to taste more of their menu.

Stumbled across this restaurant and was the most authentic Italian experience! The food was amazing and the manager/owner has written his own cookbook and is extremely friendly and made our experience unforgettable! Best food we had in Florence!!

Di passaggio qui in compagnia e abbiamo trovato questo localino dove fermarci a cenare e devo dire che sono rimasto estremamente soddisfatto del servizio e dell’esperienza vissuta posso consigliare di provare i pici al sugo di cinghiale che sono una cosa strepitosa ed anche un rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo,siamo stati davvero bene quando ricapiterò nuovamente in zona sicuramente sarà una delle tappe da dover rifare!semplicemente grazie

29/06/2025: Visited around June 10th. On vacation with relatives we decide to leave from Vinci and Anchiano, which we were visiting, to have lunch here given the reviews. It's past 1pm and I call to book for 9, no problem. We arrive and sit at a long table, the place is simple but welcoming and it's exactly what my American cousins ​​and I were looking for: not a tourist place, but a place to eat well among the locals. The food is excellent, the wine too and we really feel like we are at home. The highlight is the staff who, given that one of our guests was sick due to the heat, did everything they could to make us feel good. It was nice to chat with the staff and immerse ourselves in the daily life of the locals. Traditional cuisine, with some digressions and tasty. I enjoyed the porchetta with potatoes, excellent.
