Fantastic place, simple and welcoming! Lovely and friendly staff. Genuine and local cuisine! We returned for two consecutive lunches because we were dreaming of their ricotta ravioli with Lucanian ragù, A MUST TRY!!

Wonderful experience! We booked (3 people) on the small balcony overlooking the Dolomites, which allowed us to enjoy Lucanian delicacies in a unique setting! The staff immediately proved to be very kind and well-prepared, advising us to choose between two menus, one with a mixed starter and first course, the other with the same starter and mixed grilled meat. The super abundant starter, made up of various local specialties including cured meats, cheeses, flans and bruschetta, all really excellent. The strascinati with mushrooms, sausage and cruschi peppers are wonderful, as is the orecchiette with chickpeas and peppers (really good vegetarian variant). The mixed roast unfortunately lacked lamb for logistical reasons, but was immediately reported to be impeccable. Excellent Aglianico wine, as per Lucanian tradition. The ricotta and pear semifreddo was exceptional, the one with pistachio less so (advice to the managers: since you have shown that you have super local products, only use those!!!). Price absolutely average (the two menus were 23 with the first, 28 with the second, excluding water, wine and desserts). Lucanian coffee bitters, a spectacular delicacy. We will definitely be back!

Two people had dinner at this restaurant. Luckily we booked otherwise we wouldn't have eaten because they have around 30 seats and have rather limited opening hours (from 7pm to 9pm). We ordered a mixed starter consisting of various cold and hot courses... followed by a delicious and plentiful first course each. The prices are very honest and it feels like eating at home. Applause also goes to the very kind and professional staff.

They found us a table even though we hadn't booked. Courteous, kind and efficient, they completely satisfied us. Generous portions. The ravioli fully stood up to the family ones. Very recommended.

We had dinner here on our last evening in beautiful Castelmezzano. Starter, first course (strascinati with sausage and crusco pepper sauce), mixed roast and ricotta and pear cake. All very good. Table on the external terrace with splendid views. Very helpful and attentive staff. I would go back immediately.

All very good and cooked to perfection. And thanks to Simone for making us feel so at ease.

Già ospiti del B&b dei proprietari abbiamo deciso di cenare qui . La scelta è stata azzeccata e oltre le aspettative. Il menù è classico e la qualità e l’amore con cui sono serviti i piatti ti fanno sentire a casa . È come essere coccolati dalla nonna . Una dopo l’altra le portate ( tante ) ci hanno stupito. Non ultima l’estrema cortesia del titolare.
