We came here specifically because we wanted to eat near the canal.
We ordered two spaghetti with clams and two colas plus a coffee for €60.
The portion was a bit small and the spaghetti was a bit too hard. The waiter was kind but a bit pushy to convince us to order water or dessert, etc.

A very pleasant restaurant, well located, and with friendly waiters. There's soft background music, even on the terrace.
The food was good, but larger portions would have been welcome.

The outside terrace right by the canal is a stunner. Such great way of enjoying the Venice ecosystem- watching the gondolas slowly pass by and even the tourists walking.
The hospitality was great.
However the food definitely could be improved on.

We spent a truly enjoyable evening at this beautiful restaurant serving traditional Venetian cuisine.
During our weekend, it wasn't easy to find quality restaurants, and for us, Trattoria al Vagon was a real discovery: excellent food, excellent prices, excellent quality, and highly qualified, kind, and welcoming staff.
Highly recommended!
