Luca, the owner, is a genuine host—too much for many, but that's fine. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for any occasion. Excellent quality ingredients and freshly prepared food. If you're a picky eater, this isn't the place for you. However, if you value authentic Gorizia cuisine, you'll be welcome. Highly recommended!

While passing through Gorizia, we stumbled upon this osteria/wine bar, and the result was a fantastic dinner, both for the quality of the food and the owner's entertaining skills! It's the thing I'll remember most about the city!

A truly unique experience, featuring unique Friulian dishes. I highly recommend the gnocchi with plums served with a brown sugar and butter sauce.
Friulian cheeses and cured meats from excellent farms.
The atmosphere is informal, a bit chaotic, but pleasantly convivial. Excellent local wines!

First time in Gorizia, we stumbled upon this place by chance (we couldn't find a table at other restaurants), and found a spot right away (because they serve quickly, so the tables rotate well). Monica was very kind and gave us recommendations on the wines and dishes. The orzotto was excellent. The atmosphere was lovely, intimate, and traditional. The quality/price ratio was more than good.

We had a terrible experience upon arrival. We asked if there was room for four, and the owner rudely replied that he was busy slicing cured meats and couldn't accommodate us. Then a young man (his son?) showed us a table and served us efficiently and kindly. The same goes for the woman (his wife?). She was a bit disappointed with the food: the frico with diced potatoes that didn't blend well with the cheese; the ragù pie wasn't anything special; ditto the goulash with polenta (white and soft, like semolina).

We stumbled upon this trattoria by chance in the middle of August, when everything in Gorizia is closed, but fortunately Rebekin is open. It offers traditional dishes as well as "neutral" options like salads. Generous portions, and for those of us who, in the 34°C temperature, are brave enough to try the traditional dishes, it's a beautiful explosion of traditional flavors. Reasonable prices.

A very pleasant dinner.
The plum gnocchi and the gnocchi with goulash were delicious (the gnocchi were really good).
Friendly staff, cute place, tables available both inside and outside.
Prices were reasonable; for an appetizer, a first course, a second course, wine, and water, we spent €55 for two.
