Excellent trattoria with typical local and Friulian dishes. Very good meat, abundant dishes and fair prices. Very good wine too, both white and red with a nice list. Fast and friendly staff. Recommended.

Love it or hate it. It is a place that has a very strong personality, starting from the owner, as well as the unsurpassed waitress who served us. They are extremely direct and playful, with a lot of informality. I went there with a friend and we ate some amazing dishes. I recommend the goulash gnocchi and the fear dish. PS: meatball as a mandatory appetizer! Next time I'm in Gorizia, I'll be back

We came by by chance and even though the restaurant was busy, we got a seat straight away. The food was delicious, the salad was sensationally fresh and the dessert was also wonderful and we were served very friendly. grace

A pleasant break between the Andy Warhol exhibition and a specialist visit to the Gorizia hospital. The rebekins are excellent, the fridge with polenta and the sausages in wine with onion and polenta are sublime. Fresh and tasty desserts

While traveling around Gorizia I stopped for lunch in this tavern. Top notch cured meats and cheeses, very honest traditional foods. The surprise was meeting Luca, the owner or "paron" of the place: an authentic host who enthuses me and moves me when discussing very local wines. It had never happened to me to leave a restaurant loaded with bottles and with a smile on my face.

18/05/2025: Welcoming atmosphere with open kitchen. Internal garden. Excellent home cooking. Homemade gnocchi with goulash with a balanced and traditional flavour. Potatoes 'in tecia' and peperonata as my grandmother Olga used to make them, a cook born in Trieste from an Astro-Hungarian family. Very good local wine. As a pastry chef, I compliment you on the exquisite Viennese strudel with pulled pasta. A return to my childhood, thank you.

Al Ponte Del Calvario

15/05/2025: Last night I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant located in the quiet Groina area of ​​Gorizia. The atmosphere was pleasant, with a mise en place that was well-finished, as can be seen from the embroidered tablecloth that served as a backdrop to the dishes. I began my tasting experience with an inviting plate of gnocchi, immersed in a creamy and fragrant green sauce, delicately decorated with edible flower petals. The appearance was very inviting and promised a balance of flavors between the rusticity of the gnocchi and the freshness of the seasoning. Next, I tasted a portion of meat tartare, presented in an original shape and accompanied by a bed of fresh vegetable julienne and a slice of bread that seemed fragrant. The bright color of the meat suggested its freshness and quality. To end the dinner on a sweet note, I opted for a tiramisu served in an elegant glass. The generous dusting of cocoa and the decoration with a sprig of dried flowers added a touch of refinement to this classic of Italian pastry. the dishes are prepared with care and attention to presentation. Certainly a culinary experience that has been able to delight both the sight and the palate.
15/05/2025: Typical place, very nice and with great potential and possibilities in the summer season. Tartare good but not the classic Tartare that you expect, not knife-cut and spicy. The various zero-mile proposals are nice, I would have definitely given a 4.5-5 as a rating if it were not for the increase in wine. We are talking about over 110%.
