The place is family-run and the atmosphere is quiet. We had the pleasure of eating in the garden and being surrounded by cats.
A menu that is a journey into the tradition of Marche cuisine with appetizers, first courses and second courses mainly based on meat, all very tasty and well presented. Even though we hadn't bought it, the choice of wines comes from the Marche region. Prices in line with the quality of the proposals and the ingredients used. You can see that they put their heart into all the dishes and the homemade quality is really very good. Just like being at home. I will definitely have to go back. Congratulations 👏
Excellent food, with attention to every detail, with excellent raw materials and treated with love. Family run where each person gives the best of themselves, from the kitchen to the dining room we felt pampered (even by the splendid cat). Delightful environment, a house transformed into a restaurant that maintains all the hospitality of a home.
The must visit if you are in the area but also definitely worth driving especially for a dinner there. Probably the best restaurant in the region. Excellent service, very kind staff, tempting and delicious seasonal menu, composed of locally sourced ingredients. My absolute favourite are definitely ricotta and truffle stuffed fried zucchini flowers, a must try when in season. Until now I must have tried most of the dishes on the menu and they have been all just splendidi. They also keep a very good cellar, and the food-wine pairing they suggest is always absolutely perfect. To finish - your will be dining in a beautiful atmosphere, let it be in the charming rustic interior or magical fairy garden.

Immaginate di andare a cena se non da amici almeno da buoni conoscenti che vi ricevono con cordialità e grande gentilezza nella loro casa arredata con gusto e senza sfarzo. Immaginate di trascorrere una piacevole serata con ottimi cibi di un piccolo menù con piatti marchigiani rigorosamente preparati. Immaginate di bere vini non comuni ma ben abbinati. Immaginate di essere consigliati da una "solare" Giovin Signora dolce ed efficiente e dal suo " timido" e cortesissimo Papà. Immaginate che il tempo senza fretta trascorra in maniera deliziosa con i gatti di casa che fanno le fusa vicino a voi. Se riuscite ad immaginare tutto quanto ho cercato di spiegare allora siete " Al Picchio ".
Una esperienza "intima e gentile" che però non penso tutti possano apprezzare appieno. Io e mia moglie sì !!
