Always a guarantee. It is now a fixed stop on every trip to northern Italy. With friends or family, you can eat very well, typical local dishes with excellent ingredients also from their own production. Courteous and fast service. I recommend trying the giardiniera, the goose ragù, the cappelletti in capon broth, the fried gnocco (but also the sfonfiotto) with their cold cuts. It's not a good idea to overdo the orders to leave room for the dessert, strictly in a jar: the choice between tiramisu and trifle is difficult every time.

Siamo stati oggi alla Trattoria al Lago Verde di Reggiolo e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Abbiamo prenotato con The Fork e già dalla chiamata il personale è stato gentile e disponibile, venendo incontro alle nostre richieste, anche perché avevamo una bimba piccola con noi. Abbiamo iniziato con un tagliere di salumi misti, accompagnato da gnocco fritto e sgonfiotti, poi abbiamo ordinato quattro primi: tortelli di zucca di Reggiolo, tortelli verdi con spinaci e cappellacci di patate, formaggio e tartufo. Tutto buonissimo, al punto che non abbiamo nemmeno fatto in tempo a scattare una foto! Come secondo, abbiamo provato lo stracotto d’asino con polenta arrostita, davvero ottimo, accompagnato da un buon Lambrusco. Per finire, dolci artigianali squisiti, caffè con biscottino e, come sorpresa finale, ci hanno offerto albicocche sotto grappa. Un dettaglio che abbiamo apprezzato molto: a fine pranzo ci hanno permesso di recuperare un orecchino perso, nonostante il locale fosse già chiuso. Consiglio il posto non solo per il cibo buonissimo, ma anche per la cortesia e la disponibilità del personale. Da tornarci!

We went today to the Trattoria al Lago Verde in Reggiolo and had a great time. We booked with The Fork and right from the call the staff was kind and helpful, meeting our requests, also because we had a small daughter with us. We started with a platter of mixed cured meats, accompanied by fried and deflated gnocco, then we ordered four first courses: Reggiolo pumpkin tortelli, green tortelli with spinach and potato, cheese and truffle cappellacci. Everything was delicious, so much so that we didn't even have time to take a photo! As a second course, we tried the donkey stew with roasted polenta, really excellent, accompanied by a good Lambrusco. To finish, exquisite artisanal desserts, coffee with biscuits and, as a final surprise, we were offered apricots in grappa. A detail that we really appreciated: at the end of lunch they allowed us to recover a lost earring, even though the place was already closed. I recommend the place not only for the delicious food, but also for the courtesy and helpfulness of the staff. We'll be back!

Murder mystery dinner, excellent presentation, the menu was very good and the organization was perfect.. The only downside is the parking.

Non essendo la prima volta che vengi continuo a dire, ottimi primi e secondi.. ma stavolta l'antipasto era discutibile... la polenta era poco croccante per essere polenta grigliata, i dolci buoni anch'essi.. alla prossima volta!!!
