Trattoria Al Gaiardin In Caneva

For a Sunday lunch, we had a wonderful time outdoors with a beautiful view, leaving the heat behind and enjoying delicious dishes. I'm reducing the ambiance only because I have to strongly urge the management (I couldn't find any other way to let you know, like a website or email) to remove that netting full of pine needles over the outdoor tables because you can't eat with the "rain" of those "mini lice" constantly falling on the tablecloth, food, water, and hair. I pointed this out to the waitress, who blamed it on the rain: no, that netting is not suitable for food: please! Put any plastic, cloth, or whatever you want over the heads of the customers as long as it doesn't have holes. (We stayed because we insisted on sitting outside and we're not picky, but we had to cover our glasses and heads... others would have raised a fuss, left, or at least stayed inside...) I hope you'll welcome constructive criticism.

I only had a sandwich, I will definitely come back because I like it and I saw a great atmosphere, I will definitely try the food.

Pleasant and fresh atmosphere, especially suitable for the warm months that are coming, good food and fast and courteous service!!

Luckily, places like this still exist. Excellent location, obviously accessible with a bit of effort. The atmosphere is refined, old-fashioned, elegant, yet warm and familiar. The dishes are excellent, carefully prepared, beautifully presented, and ultimately delicious. Well done to everyone who manages to offer such high-quality service at such a fair price in a place off the beaten path. I've been going there for a lot, it's the first time I've reviewed a restaurant, even though I work in the sector, one of the last times I was in Caneva in three days I went there 5 times, I had the full menu and it was all exceptional 😘
