I stumbled upon it by mistake and was blown away. The wine was excellent. I ate the Frico with onions, a typical Friulian dish. I was blown away. The dishes were few, but very well presented. The staff were friendly and the food was good, and the wine was also reasonably priced. Now I want to have a get-together with friends. The rustic atmosphere is wonderful, very characteristic, and very relaxed. A fantastic Sunday.

Historic restaurant in the center of Valvasone Seafood dinner organized by my friend Maurizio. The dishes were carefully prepared, the girls and the chef were super friendly, the company was very pleasant, and the price was reasonable for the quality of the ingredients. I recommend trying it.

A lovely osteria run by women. We ate here for lunch after visiting the beautiful Valvasone, which boasts a splendid cathedral. The food is delicious (my frico was exceptional!) and the service is quick and friendly. They also offer a full lunch menu with a limited menu. The wine selection is good.

We stopped just for an aperitif, a glass of Ribolla Gialla. The atmosphere was very refined, quaint, and truly beautiful. What a discovery!

This place is truly worth a visit! The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming, and you feel completely at ease. Today, the pear and Taleggio risotto and the venison tagliatelle were delicious; the guanciale melted in your mouth, and the vegetables, seasoned in a special way, were superb. You have to try everything! The schioppettino is the best! The quality/price ratio is excellent! We always love coming back... After leaving the restaurant, a stroll through the small town center makes for a pleasant end to a day.

10/03/2026: I ordered three takeout pizzas a little while ago and I have to say I was really impressed. The pizzas were incredibly good, with a light, well-cooked dough and just the right balance. As soon as we opened them, the aroma was incredible; the basil filled the kitchen with a crazy scent, a sign of fresh, quality ingredients. I had the Affumicata with provola cheese and it was spectacular, with a perfectly balanced smoky flavor. We were completely satisfied; you can taste the passion behind these pizzas. I will definitely be back.

09/05/2026: La Botega de Barlò is a corner of Friuli where time stands still and you can savor authentic flavors in a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The location and Signora Rita transport us back to a past of timeless and genuine traditions. The young staff master this art of kind and genuine hospitality, and the culinary experience is highly recommended!
25/04/2026: This is my second time eating here in three weeks. Superb appetizer. Good and plentiful first and second courses. I'll be back soon and recommend it to everyone.
