We found this typical Trieste trattoria by chance, but it exceeded our expectations. It's a well-kept, family-run place, with just a few tables and dishes served with love. The menu is mostly seafood. We tried the Jota, then I had the stew with polenta, which was excellent, and my companion had the grilled calamari. The dishes are prepared with care and passion. Highly recommended!

A typical family-run Trieste osteria with traditional dishes ranging from fish to meat. Try the Jota. Excellent grappa selection for connoisseurs. We'll definitely be back.

Family-run restaurant where you can eat excellent fish at a reasonable price. Excellent fried food. Pasta with swordfish and eggplant is more than delicious. Trieste-style octopus. Superlative mussels. And let's not even talk about the owner, a very kind and friendly lady who has the ability to establish a very friendly relationship with her customers. 10 out of 10.

Trattoria in the center of Trieste. We tried a scampi starter, which was very good. The main course, sea bream, was decent. The desserts were good. The bill wasn't too high.

Excellent. The pasta is al dente. The appetizers include the octopus with burrata and basil. For dessert, the tiramisu and the revisited millefeuille are excellent.

25/10/2025: We enjoyed everything! Super good and the portions were just right! The hospitality was top notch. We'll be back. I don't like taking pictures of food, but today I made an exception... ...we've been back and will be back again. This time I'm sharing the before and after of two dishes....superb!!! Thank you
11/10/2025: Recommended trattoria, with tasty and beautifully presented seafood dishes. Friendly owners. We opted for mussels with chili pepper instead of pepper, and instead of the mussels with pepper, we opted for mussels with impeperoncina (a type of mussels with pepper), followed by fish gratin and sardines in saor (sautéed sardines). The house wine by the glass is good, both still and sparkling. Prices are reasonable. Free street parking is available near the restaurant. Worth a stop for some food and wine.

28/10/2025: perfection. Great food, Very kind and welcoming host, lovely atmosphere and reasonable prices. Honestly you can't ask for more!
14/10/2025: We had an amazing lunch here one Saturday afternoon quality was top notch, the service was professional and attentive, and the setting was just lovely. The seafood lasagna was a real stand out, although all the dishes were absolutely delicious.
