Let me start by saying that my wife and I are regulars. We dined at Al Collio for New Year's Eve, opting for the meat menu. And, as always, we were satisfied. For us, it feels like home. Whether you come for lunch or dinner, know that they cook everything freshly. So if you're in a hurry, this isn't the place for you. Thank you for making our New Year's Eve a wonderful experience. The only downside was our neighbors at the table (Mrs. Sandra G., as she signed her review), who didn't seem to be happy with anything, and they also annoyed us with their attitude. The atmosphere is welcoming and family-friendly, just like a true trattoria once was. Beautifully decorated for the Christmas season. The menu is varied, but not overly so, with traditional dishes and fresh, quality ingredients. Reasonable prices. When I return to Trieste, it will be our go-to. Recommended.

We found this typical Trieste trattoria by chance, but it exceeded our expectations. It's a well-kept, family-run place, with just a few tables and dishes served with love. The menu is mostly seafood. We tried the Jota, then I had the stew with polenta, which was excellent, and my companion had the grilled calamari. The dishes are prepared with care and passion.

Try the Jota.
Excellent grappa selection for connoisseurs.

Family-run restaurant where you can eat excellent fish at a reasonable price. Excellent fried food. Pasta with swordfish and eggplant is more than delicious.
Trieste-style octopus.
Superlative mussels.
And let's not even talk about the owner, a very kind and friendly lady who has the ability to establish a very friendly relationship with her customers. 10 out of 10.
