We walked quite a way before deciding to go in here. The restaurant is very cozy and has lovely old-fashioned decor. I'd like to mention first that the portions are good and the food is very tasty; our compliments to the chef. What we didn't like was the waiter's service; he wasn't friendly and treated us differently compared to the regular customers, whom he was very nice to. I imagine he was judging who would spend more and who wouldn't, which is a shame. We didn't feel like trying the desserts...

10/11/2025: At Gran Caffè dei Villini, I always feel a little at home. The smell of freshly brewed coffee, warm croissants, and the smiles of those working behind the counter make mornings lighter. There's a simple, genuine atmosphere, one that sometimes seems hard to find in Rome. The service is fast, but never rushed, and you can sense the care they give to each customer, even those who pop in for a quick espresso. It's one of those places you'll want to return to, not just for the good coffee, but for the sense of familiarity it leaves you with.
18/10/2025: Today I went for a coffee in a glass and a chocolate croissant. You were lucky, I was in a hurry, otherwise I would have brought another 10 croissants 😅 Everything was delicious, and the service was excellent. I'll definitely be back.

16/09/2025: Very fresh seafood. I've never seen such large vongole anywhere. Large portions. Everything is delicious.
