The grill was good, and the horse meat I tried was also good.
We asked for dessert; when I asked if the cheesecake was homemade, the waitress replied, "Yes, they are homemade." So I ordered a portion.
Spoiler alert: it wasn't homemade, and you could tell from a mile away.
Rather than make a fool of yourself, next time, honesty from the entire staff would be appreciated.

Nice place, fast and courteous service, friendly staff, but above all, good food. Home-style cooking with homemade pasta, including superb gnocchi and bigoli. Naturally, horse meat dominates, as it's the trattoria's specialty, and the stew is excellent. A little out of the way, but with a GPS, you can get anywhere. Prices are higher than last year's...could this also be due to COVID?

Excellent trattoria specializing in horse meat. Rustic yet elegant atmosphere, clean bathrooms. The food is good, and the menu is reasonably varied, with horse meat naturally taking center stage. The straecca deserves a special mention, as it's truly tender. The desserts are also good. The only drawback is the lack of fresh bread, which is replaced with polenta, which may not be to everyone's taste. It's a shame, too, because with the stew, you'd be tempted to mop up the meat with bread. 😉 The service is quick and courteous, the waitresses are very friendly. The price is reasonable. Highly recommended. 👍
