It's true that there's little transparency regarding prices (no written menu), but eating there was a great experience. Highly recommended.

What a great family place with homemade pasta and more. The food was amazing delicious and service was above and beyond. We felt us very welcome. I strongly recommend to try the white wine made on the grape which has the same name as the town. Highly recommended.

I have been more than once and always on Target. I had caccio e pepe and Fiorentina with a bottle of wine,! A++ I will come back surely.

A family What can I say? I'm biased, as a longtime customer of this restaurant. But when you want good, authentic food and a sense of homeliness... This is one of those places to stop. Like the madeleine for Proust, sitting at the table brings back memories of family meals of the past, with homemade lasagna, freshly picked mushrooms... homemade desserts, and good wine... And every time, the menu is a surprise, with the welcome that makes you feel right at home.

We dined at Colli Storici and had a truly delightful experience. The restaurant is beautiful, well-maintained, and well-decorated, with a splendid window that allows you to enjoy the view outside while you eat—a detail that makes everything even more relaxing. The staff deserves a special mention. The young woman who has been there for many years was impeccable: polite, knowledgeable, smiling, and always attentive. The other young staff members also exuded a sense of serenity and harmony. When you enter a place and sense a positive atmosphere among the people working there, even lunch or dinner becomes even more enjoyable. The owner is a special person in the best sense of the word: authentic, interesting, and you can tell there's a passionate project behind this place. The choice not to have a paper menu at the table is highly original: they tell you everything that's available that day, creating a more direct and personal connection with the customer. The only constructive criticism concerns the prices: since there are no signs either at the table or outside, you're a bit "blind" eating. Personally, I was afraid of a surprise at the end, but instead I ate very well and spent a fair amount, so it was a pleasant surprise. However, greater transparency on prices, at least outside the restaurant, would certainly be a wise and appreciated choice. That said, I can only congratulate the entire team. When I return to Custozza, it will definitely be a regular stop.

Trattoria with A+ ​Exceptional experience. Last night's Fiorentina steak was a masterpiece: perfectly aged, perfectly cooked rare, and a flavorful crust enclosing a tender center. ​Meat: Top-quality cut, superb marbling. ​Service: Quick, courteous, and no-frills. ​Atmosphere: Welcoming and authentic. Highly recommended!!!!

I'll start with the negative (obviously, in my opinion), which isn't a bad thing in itself; it just needs to be addressed beforehand: there's no menu, and you'll never know how much you paid for what (the receipt will simply state "full menu"). The food features ingredients of varying quality, from excellent to good/fairly good. Some dishes were a real disappointment, but the meat (which I ate) was excellent, though the quantities were a bit limited. The owner is a witty person and demonstrates a great intellect (even in his jokes and his memory). Parking is a bit of a no-go, but with luck, you can find a spot nearby (very lucky if it's peak time). The acoustics were terrible; to talk to someone sitting further away, I had to shout or lean forward, as if we were at a rave. Overall, I don't think I'll go back on my own. But if you happen to be there, choose the meat and expect a surprise bill (not necessarily a bad one, I spent €31 (€62 between me and my girlfriend) for a second course and some wine).

Despite the top-quality meat and the kindness and professionalism of the waitstaff, the experience is undermined by the owner’s arbitrary pricing policy: there are no menus, and prices are decided on the spot. Portions are small, and during “broccoletto di Custoza” season you are not even served the best parts. A missed opportunity.
