I Cascinari is a place of the heart. It is the grandmother's cooking kept alive and reworked by chef Vito. It is the welcome of Piero and the very kind boys who serve in the dining room. Every time we return to Palermo, at least a couple of stops are a must. Exceptional value for money. Often after eating we also take something to take away. In my personal ranking: appetizer (free and for everyone) of panelline and croquettes, eggplant meatballs, spaghetti with black ink or Sicilian pesto, stuffed squid... but I mean, it's not possible: I would have to list the entire menu! It is essential to book, they are always full

Very nice well kept environment frequented by Palermitans and tourists they pampered us from the beginning with an excellent appetizer pasta alla norma exceptional fried fish very good perhaps a little in quantity but high quality the stuffed ravioli were delicious then the cassata a delicacy excellent tasty and the sorbet to degrease
Service present and kind not invasive

Trattoria Ai cascinari is always a guarantee of absolute quality and tradition, with an always impeccable service. I appreciate it very much as a Palermitan and I always recommend it to my friends who visit, to have a very faithful cross-section of the cuisine of our city.

The best restaurant in all of Sicily! We came across it completely by accident on our first day and every subsequent dinner we compared to this one 😍 delicious food, great atmosphere and very nice service! THE BEST!

Polpette alla Siciliana, bollito Palermitano, caponata di melanzane, caponata di carciofi e altre specialità del luogo sono un alchimia dove cortesia, professionalità e una carta dei vini onestamente proposti fanno sì che tutte le volte che veniamo a Palermo i Cascinari siano una tappa fissa, obbligatoria.

Maravillosos y auténticos platos sicilianos. Comienza con croquetas de patatas y patatas fritas de garbanzo que está en la casa. En cuanto a la comida, espagueti negro seppie y trozo de atún con salsa de tomate eran excelentes. Planeta blanco fue un buen socio para los platos. El servicio fue profesional y rápido, aunque las mesas estaban casi llenas solo 30 minutos después de la apertura! Si quieres experimentar los platos sicilianos con el ambiente tradicional trattoria, este es el lugar para estar.
