The is the kind of Italian restaurant I want to dine in: simple, unassuming, great food, welcoming service and reasonable price. Tucked away from the tourist attractions, but it is still full booked. I was lucky enough to be offered a table even without reservation sinceI I arrived when they just opened. The owner is especially friendly, and made sure I had a good dinner. Thank you for making my last night in Sicily full of good memories.

Located off the main tourist paths, this trattoria is popular with the locals and serves excellent Sicilian food. Probably the best dinner we had in Sicily.

Always a positive experience. The mixed fried fish was excellent, but I didn't find the eggplant meatballs as soft as previous times. Perhaps a little too much bread? Slow service.

Polpette alla Siciliana, bollito Palermitano, caponata di melanzane, caponata di carciofi e altre specialità del luogo sono un alchimia dove cortesia, professionalità e una carta dei vini onestamente proposti fanno sì che tutte le volte che veniamo a Palermo i Cascinari siano una tappa fissa, obbligatoria. Arrivederci! A presto!

Maravillosos y auténticos platos sicilianos. Comienza con croquetas de patatas y patatas fritas de garbanzo que está en la casa. En cuanto a la comida, espagueti negro seppie y trozo de atún con salsa de tomate eran excelentes. Planeta blanco fue un buen socio para los platos. El servicio fue profesional y rápido, aunque las mesas estaban casi llenas solo 30 minutos después de la apertura! Si quieres experimentar los platos sicilianos con el ambiente tradicional trattoria, este es el lugar para estar.
