Delicious! Go there with your eyes closed. This family trattoria frequented by both locals and tourists is incredible. I had the squid ink pasta. Octopus with tomato and citrus sorbet. In decades of experience, I have never encountered a flaw in the quality, preparation and presentation of the dishes. Even though it is a trattoria, the attentive and fast service, with the right amount of friendliness, is of international restaurant level. Despite their continued success, they have never rested on their laurels, trying to maintain quality and creativity in the field of traditional Palermo cuisine, which is their "trademark".

Excellent food but unfortunately in our case an unfortunate experience as after the appetizers the two first courses were served about an hour and a half after the order's request. Never happened in my life. And above all served after having served customers who arrived much later than us. It's unfortunate because the expectations were very different for a place of this reputation.

Excellent service, good food but what doesn't excel is the setting, I also want to underline that the boiled potatoes with the salad were quite stale, at least they weren't all freshly made, the aubergine rolls were good but cold and the pasta Normally it was good but you could eat it after realizing that it was normal pasta because the rain of grated salted ricotta completely covered it, hiding the identity of the dish. The price, for two people, was very good, considering that elsewhere, in Palermo, they tend to lighten your wallet quite a lot. The grilled radicchio is excellent!

An authentic and unforgettable experience! We discovered this family trattoria with charm "in its own right", where the warm and relaxed atmosphere immediately seduced us. This place is obviously popular with locals, who come there with their families, which adds to the authentic character of the place. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with exceptional kindness and multilingual service – perfect for us, French speakers. A detail that we particularly appreciated: a short story of the family trattoria is told in the introduction to the menu, which allowed us to better understand the historical and family context of the place. To start, we opted for a mixed antipasto. The service was quick, and the portions were more than generous. A great variety of flavors, with endless dishes! As a main course, we tasted: Squid with tomato and garlic sauce, where the subtle garlic did not dominate the taste of the dish. The tomato sauce was incredibly fresh, and the squid of remarkable quality, with an iodized taste attesting to their freshness. A local fish breaded with bread and almonds, equally delicious and perfectly cooked. The desserts were the icing on the cake of this memorable meal: The Sicilian cassata, our absolute favorite of the stay. Here, it is homemade, and you can feel it in every bite. A fresh and incredibly tasty citrus sorbet. We accompanied this feast with an excellent white wine, served generously. All for a very reasonable addition of around 70 euros.
