excellent welcome from the owner and all the staff, nice clean environment, excellent dishes, quality food, fresh and well prepared, excellent typical Abruzzo restaurant highly recommended, reservations preferable especially on weekends.

After a nice hike through the Celano Gorges, we wanted something traditional and warm (given the less than ideal weather). We searched Google and found this place with good reviews, so we decided to try it ourselves. As soon as we entered, the place was welcoming. We took a seat, and the owner served us in a very friendly manner. He presented us with his menu and suggested how to enjoy it...obviously, we took him and were very satisfied. All I can say is that we ate very well and had a great time.

Posto informale, cucina semplice, ma molto buona. Sembra di mangiare cibo cucinato dalla mamma o dalla nonna, fatto in casa. Tutto molto buono e genuino.

The food was EXCELLENT, the gentleman who works was very kind and super fun and the place, what can I say, wonderful! They don't take long to serve. The appetizer was EXQUISITE. For the first course, together with my parents, I had the casarecce with sauce and sausage. The sauce was excellent and the pasta was soft enough. Then we also had the meat and it was very good.

All very good and the service from the employees was also impeccable. The only reason why I give 4 stars and not 5 is for the fact that on an account of 12 people it becomes a problem to pay for just one card transaction (despite it being well written in the place). I hope that the evaluation is taken in a constructive way and not as a criticism with the intent to belittle.

05/09/2025: The food was excellent, but the lunch was too long. It was certainly a celebration.
16/08/2025: Excellent typical Abruzzese restaurant, or rather, Marsicano-Fucinese. I recommend the Abruzzese appetizer. The first courses are all excellent. The local lamb. The local vegetables. Oh....of course, the Fucino potatoes. Very well-kept restaurant. Parking available.
