We discovered this little wonder in the heart of Ovindoli. Recently renovated, warm and welcoming place. Preserves the authenticity of a local trattoria. Delicious starter of cured meats and cheeses (I leave a photo because it deserves it). As a first course we chose fettuccine alla pastora, which were also exceptional! Homemade fettuccine with fresh sheep's ricotta, pecorino and bacon, a riot of flavours. Finally, for dessert, a ricotta and chocolate tart, really good. I highly recommend it not only for the amazing food and the excellent value for money, but also and above all for the host, the owner, an easy-going person who made us feel at home, the added value of this place! Go and try it, you won't regret it!!!

super kind and helpful, the delicious cured meats cut on the spot, delicious fettuccine with mushrooms as well as pasta and beans (made like a soup) and also the gnocchi all homemade. The cut of meat was excellent and there was also a piece of mutton very good.
Very nice owner and made himself available.

super gentili e disponibili, i salumi buonissimi tagliati al momento, fettuccine ai funghi buonissimi come anche pasta e fagioli (fatta tipo a zuppa) e anche gli gnocchi tutto fatto in casa.La tagliata di carne ottima e c'era anche un pezzo di pecora
molto buono.
Proprietario molto simpatico e si è messo a disposizione.

Typical mountain restaurant with simple, quality genuine dishes. We had booked without warning that we had a small dog with us. After having reorganized ourselves for this "important problem" according to the owner, we were moved to another room adjacent to the central part of the restaurant (the B&B room) with two tables, ours and another table for 5. What I wonder and how is it possible in 2025 to continue to have problems welcoming a dog? Furthermore, the table next to us (5 guys) smoked iqos without any problems and without the owner and/or waitress saying anything. So no dog, but yes smoking? Is the problem the dogs or the rudeness of people? So if you want to eat simply and well, go to this restaurant, but if you have a dog, unfortunately, choose something else.
