First time and I would say it met my expectations

I had a wonderful evening with my wife and parents for my 41st birthday. Perfect dinner! Fantastic food and really great prices! The tripe was top! I highly recommend it and will definitely return. Thank you!

On Sunday, for lunch with my brother, they were looking for a place to eat well-made local cuisine and this restaurant was an excellent discovery. The menu offers local cuisine; it is adequately varied and rightly not infinite, proving that the preparations are made on the spot. The dishes, of the right size (not excessive, to the detriment of quality, nor too small as some cuisine abuses) are prepared with excellent ingredients, with care and also with an eye towards the new, which makes even historic dishes current, without distorting them or spoil them. Punctual and warm service, without being intrusive, carried out by both the dining room staff and the owner. I'm happy to say a few words about the owner; nice person, who listens to the customer (even when expressing criticism) in an intelligent way. Also a very correct person: when in the end I pointed out to him that, in the bill already paid, he had forgotten to include the wine, he decided (in a fraction of a second) to make a good impression and offer it (which was anything but necessary and usual). In short, a beautiful lunch, as per the attached photos.

Domenica, a pranzo con mio fratello, cercavano un posto dove mangiare cucina locale ben fatta e questa trattoria è stata una eccellente scoperta. Il menù offre preposte di cucina locale; è adeguatamente vario e giustamente non infinito, a riprova che le preparazioni sono fatte sul momento. I piatti, di dimensione giusta (non eccessivi, a discapito della qualità, nè troppo piccoli come abusa una certa cucina) sono preparati con ottimi ingredienti, con cura ed anche con uno sguardo verso il nuovo, che rende attuali anche piatti storici, senza stravolgerli o guastarli. Servizio puntuale e caloroso, senza essere invadente, svolto sia dal personale di sala che dal titolare. Sul titolare spendo volentieri due parole; persona simpatica, che ascolta il cliente (anche quando esprime una critica) in modo intelligente. Persona anche molto corretta: quando alla fine gli ho fatto notare che, nel conto già pagato, aveva dimenticato di includere il vino, ha deciso (in una frazione di secondo) di fare bella figura e di offrirlo (cosa tutt'altro che necessaria ed usuale). Insomma, bellissimo pranzo, come da foto allegate.
