We ordered the Cacio e Pepe, the Arrabbiata pasta, and a Tiramisu. My son said the Cacio e Pepe was okay — it’s basically spaghetti with cheese and black pepper — but still had good flavour. The Arrabbiata was very tasty and surprisingly full of flavour. For such simple, basic dishes, they really impressed me. The prices were also very reasonable compared to other places in the area. But I have to say… my god, the Tiramisu was amazing. I’m not usually a fan of tiramisu in the UK, but since we were in Rome I had to give it a try — and it ended up being the best I’ve ever had. My only regret is not ordering another one! The service was okayish. We hadn’t been here before so we weren’t sure how everything worked — whether they come to the table or you go up — and a few times when trying to order we were told to “ask the other guy.” But to be fair, they were extremely busy. The gentleman with the beard (I’m guessing the owner) was very good and attentive though, which helped. Overall, definitely recommend. Great food, incredible tiramisu, and good value for money near the Colosseum.

It was recommended by a local and it didn't disappoint. Delicious meals in big portions, next to the Coliseum and it's pretty cheap. Everything on the picture was 18 EURs, which is kind of unheard of taking into account how good the food is and where the restaurant is located.

Great place to taste the real italian cuisine. Abundant plates, great service. Totally recomend.

Really nice, truly italian place with the nice view from one side to colosseum. Nice prices for such localization, delicious. Went a few times and will come back.

We stayed twice during a three-day trip to Rome and returned because everything was so incredible. The food was exquisite, the service fantastic, and the tiramisu and carbonara were the best I've ever tasted! Plus, six of us ate for a very reasonable price. When we return to Rome, we'll definitely go back ☺️

this definitely is a tourist trattoria, the food is alright (not the worst) but it’s cheap so it balances out the service is actually quite fast and friendly so that certainly makes this feel like a good place if you’re in a rush or around the area :)

Located literally steps from the Colosseum, you might think it'd be a typical tourist spot, but it wasn't. A super helpful girl greeted me, and despite the busy day and time, she found me a table without a reservation. I ordered the oxtail stew with potatoes, which arrived incredibly quickly and was delicious; for a moment, I felt like I was at my grandmother's house. But here's where the fun begins: a local guy sits down next to me, busy preparing the day's desserts, and we start chatting as if we've been lifelong friends. A couple of other waiters join me, alternating between work and breaks, where we chat about everything from trivial topics like soccer to what it's like to live in Rome for a Roman. All in all, a fantastic evening thanks to these guys. I can't recommend it enough, given its strategic location, the food is excellent (and reasonably priced: main course, side dish, dessert, and wine for €20), and the people are wonderful—they deserve it.
