Tratt Pizz L'Ortica In Milano

It's nice, typical and Milanese, appetizing dishes, shame about the cold; like most places today, heating costs have a significant impact and consequently the owners keep it very low. However, with an outside temperature of 4c, sitting is cold!

in occasione di un evento all'Idroscalo, ci siamo fermati a cena in questa trattoria! prezzi non proprio da trattoria, ma in ogni modo le porzioni erano abbondanti. abbiamo preso le linguine con gamberi e scampi che purtroppo sono arrivate insipide e appena tiepide... davvero un peccato perchè le abbiamo mangiate di fretta e furia apprezzandole poco; come secondo piatto abbiamo preso una grigliata di pesce e una frittura con contorno di patate fritte e verdure ai ferri, entrambe molto buone e saporite e porzioni medio abbondante. Una bottiglia di vino bianco per un totale di euro 55euro (da sottolineare che sul primo e i secondi con contorno c'era la promo The fork -40%). l'ambiente è un pò piccolino, ma comunque caldo e pulito. la cameriera molto gentile e premurosa. conclusione finale, mi trovassi in zona, tornerei volentieri!

Very good food, served and presented well, too bad the environment was really cold, probably because we went in the middle of the week and there were few people besides us. In winter it is preferable to eat in the heat... other than that everything is perfect. I assume the pizza is also good because I saw a beautiful wood-fired oven that was turned off that evening, rightly so since no one had asked for pizza...

Nice find. I was invited to lunch by a colleague…. I didn't know this place.... But I will certainly return often. Kindness and courtesy, as well as excellent and beautifully cooked food.... Prices in line with quality and menu options... recommended for those who work in the Ortica area...

All in all the quality of the food is mediocre, nothing special and what's more, the fact that the prices are restaurant prices is a bit of a disadvantage even if it's still a trattoria!!!

The restaurant is small, but nice and clean. The service is well-mannered and friendly; the food is good. I am of the opinion that the appropriate rating is 4 stars to evaluate the price-performance ratio

Taking an average of the 3 star dishes it seems correct to me. Anchovies and marinated salmon good but not very good €11, fried a little too crunchy the olives the rest good €11 chicory very good €11, pizzoccheri zola and mushrooms good €14 but so far a little low in quantity, braised meat and polenta very good and plenty of €15. I thought the grilled vegetables with scamorza had thicker slices of scamorza on top to give a 'melted' effect, but anyway it wasn't bad at €11. Vanessa top! A note on drinking: the water without indicating that it is treated water (at least I hope) at 4 euros 1l perhaps a little too much. For lunch during the week there is also a fixed menu which I will return to try more.
