It was an unforgettable experience from the food to the location

Food and location truly beyond expectations. The sea view certainly helps to make the experience special. The food was also really, really good. There is a fixed menu full of dishes of all types. I recommend it!

I don't quite understand the fascination with dining at Trabocco. The food was very average. Sometimes it is better to focus on quality rather than quantity because there were about 12 dishes, but the presentation and flavors were average. As for the atmosphere, it is not impressive either. It's true that you're sitting on Trabocco, surrounded by sea below you (and if you're lucky, you'll get a table by the balustrade with a view of the water), but the tables are placed one to each other and it feels quite cramped. Solid wood chairs are covered with a thin material, so sitting on them for over 3 hours (that's how long it takes) is quite a feat. All in all, we paid €70 per person plus extra for a bottle of wine. For me personally the food was worth maybe €30-€35 so the rest is probably the price you pay for a place at Trabocco.

An experience like no other. Wonderful to sit out over the sea and indulge in fresh seafood. Beware, we were served 15 courses all for one price. No menu, you eat what is served good wine, fun atmosphere.

Absolute exquisite dining experience from arrival to departure and everything in between ♥️🐟🇮🇹 The restaurant is literally situated above the ocean, supported by rustic timber posts, it looks spectacular. Entrance via a tree lined path to a wooden bridge that leads you to the magical restaurant where staff are friendly and gracious. Multiple courses of seafood that are prepared in different methods using a variety of local fresh seafood are calmly delivered, making a relax atmosphere. Finally a selection of deserts, fruit and coffee complete an amazing dining experience. I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant especially during the day so the beautiful view of the endless ocean and coastline can be appreciated. I am so happy to had opportunity while on holiday from Australia 🇦🇺 Thank you 🥰

Never disappoints... always the best

The Trabocco Punta Cavalluccio is an excellent place to have lunch and dinner directly on the sea. The structure, as it has been renovated and transformed into a restaurant, is the most evocative to look at and elegant in the choices made by the managers. Pina is an exceptional person, a dynamic woman and an attentive and affable professional and the entire team that supports her transmits professionalism and courtesy. Regarding the products brought to the table and the cuisine, the whole family that runs this Trabocco has solid experience and culture, which are passed down from generation to generation. As for the place in general, it is welcoming and easy to reach, equipped with everything that can make going there pleasant, including parking.

Beautiful location, fixed menu all excellent. Courteous staff If it weren't for the distance I would have returned, but there will be an opportunity to return.

Unieke ervaring om te lunchen op een trabocco, voormalige visinstallatie boven de zee. In veruit de meeste zit tegenwoordig een restaurant, maar deze is niet alleen prachtig gelegen (geen doorgaande weg of fietspad te zien), maar ook het eten is hier bijzonder goed. Het vaste lunchmenu bestaat al allerlei vis, schaal- en schelpdieren en wordt in een prettig tempo geserveerd. Reken op minstens 3 uur voor de lunch. De bediening is uiterst vriendelijk. Reserveren noodzakelijk. Toiletten op het vasteland zijn bereikbaar via de loopbrug. Er is een prive parkeerplaats bij het restaurant. Er is ook een pittoresk klein strandje direct voor de trabocco.
