The location is beautiful...but...but...but
So, let's start with the reservation call:
- it's fair to inform the caller that the menu is set at €70 per person, excluding drinks...but it would also be fair to inform the customer at the same time (and this wasn't done) that the table will only start to appear when the restaurant is practically full (like a wedding). Result: we arrived at 8:00 PM (some couples were already seated) and didn't eat until 8:40 PM (except for 1 fishball on the house). In short: the customer needs to know...and be able to choose;
- the steamed corn on the cob, among the appetizers, should have been served with the shell cut on the sides or with small scissors to do so and allow for easy tasting of the flesh: nothing (moreover, the corn on the cob was served au gratin, this time with the shell cut on the back);
- the mussels were bland; they looked like they were simply boiled in water, without even a hint of parsley (none at all) or a pinch of pepper. And I don't think that's the way they're prepared in Abruzzo, because we've had them in other Abruzzo restaurants, cooked differently;
- the side dish was a very sad, flat, colorless salad (without a single cherry tomato, a sprig of arugula, celery, or basil leaves...nothing);
- the rest of the menu? It depends on each customer's expertise. Personally: adequate (with the exception of the fried calamari, which was truly well-executed);
- dessert: delicious;
- wine list: excellent.
In short, as far as we're concerned, the menu as a whole isn't worth €70, and that's a real shame, because such a location (I repeat, beautiful) and the customers of such a restaurant deserve, for the price paid, something more in terms of the food (and I'm not talking about quantity—in fact, I'd significantly reduce the number of courses, especially appetizers, in favor of higher quality) and the organization.
As I always say: if I'm racing in a Ferrari (and this Trabocco is a splendid Ferrari), I have to come in first...

A wonderful experience worth trying at least once in your life. Excellent service, excellent set menu, from appetizers to dessert, a flavorful experience, all served at the perfect pace. Dinner is served slowly, allowing you to savor the dishes at your own pace in an exceptional location...you practically feel like you're at sea. The staff was courteous and friendly, and basically everything was perfect. Excellent value for the price, which comes to €70 per person, and dessert was a sublime discovery.

Anyone passing through the Trabocchi Coast should try this experience. We spent a wonderful evening enjoying good food, history, and the echoes of the sea.

A charming place. If you decide to have this experience, you're doing it to enjoy a truly unique location. So, obviously, paying €80 per person is only reasonable if you know you're going there for the place, not the food. A fixed fish menu costs up to €50, including drinks, but you pay €70 excluding drinks. But as mentioned, you choose the place, so it's worth it for the experience. If you're thinking of going for a serious seafood meal, you're not in the right place. The food is good, and you certainly won't eat badly, but at those prices, you're eating in a decent place. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a unique evening as a couple.

Abbiamo pranzato presso questo splendido trabocco. Buona l’accoglienza e il servizio . Menù fisso con antipasti caldi e freddi , un primo , un secondo , frittura , fragole e dolce. Tutto molto buono. Buona anche la carta dei vini.

Posto fantastico.
Un ristorante di alto livello in un trabocco, cioè in una palafitta sul mare.
Tramonto fantastico da vedere e cucina ottima.
Menù fisso con tante portate di fresco e squisito pesce.
Servizio molto buono e prezzo adeguato.
