A historic place in Sordiglio, Casina, whose name is a guarantee. For three decades, it has been a destination for birthdays, anniversaries, dinners, and lunches with friends and family, because every occasion was a good one. It's about to close, a heartbreaking decision, due to the retirement of the great Marco. Outstanding tortelli, unrivaled gnocco fritto, excellent traditional first and second courses, the best desserts and, above all, the best mascarpone in Reggio. What will we do without it?

We stopped to eat at this restaurant, which we found somewhat by chance while browsing Google Maps. We were intrigued by the name, so we decided to try it. It was a truly positive experience. We ate gnocco fritto (fried gnocchi) accompanied by a platter of sublime cured meats, followed by a huge tortellata misto (mixed tortellata), each one better than the last, all washed down with an excellent Lambrusco, and topped off with a fantastic tiramisu cream. The girls are incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and the owner is a friendly, old-fashioned host who truly knows his stuff when it comes to good food. The next evening, we showed up shamelessly without a reservation, and even though the place was packed, they found us a table right away, and we had a wonderful meal. The prices were more than fair for the quality offered. Highly recommended, and we hope to return one day. Best regards from the Val di Non family. 🍏🏔️🍎

Even though we hadn't booked, they found us two places... fantastic staff and owners, excellent dishes, freshly made fried cake with freshly sliced cured meats... a delight for the palate... but the highlight is the therapeutic tortelli... mega galactic... tried them all... dessert and coffee... Highly recommended (after the visit to Votigno by motorbike)

Such a cosy place to feed ourselves... the tortelli were over and above any expectations... exceptional service and superb wine !!! Awesome experience... I'll be back
