A wonderful coffee roaster. They make incredibly delicious hot chocolate with cream, unlike anything you'll find anywhere else. They offer a wide variety of unique products, from coffees, teas, and infusions to chocolate bars, candies, and other treats. It's worth a visit just to enjoy the kindness of the staff.

Historic Milanese and neighborhood roasting shop where you can taste and buy coffee from all over the world, and also other things, tea, chocolate. You can breathe an air of other times. Definitely a fixed point of Milanese society. And then in this period you can appreciate the Christmas coffee... In a red cup 🥰 And in the summer their fantastic Mazagram 😎

Amazing full bodied, deep, and complex coffee beans. It’s a historic coffee shop that has a lot of rare beans, and also serves traditional Milanese specialities, but I just got a classic espresso and some beans to go👌🏽

We stopped by Torrefazione Moka Hodeidah after lunch for a coffee, drawn by its historic name and by memories I had of a few years ago. Back then, there was an older gentleman behind the counter who made truly excellent coffees—unfortunately, the experience wasn't the same today. We consider it a good compromise between those seeking a "classic" Italian espresso and those with a more curious or international coffee culture. Some blends seem freshly roasted or brewed, while others give the impression of being leftovers from a previous brew. The quality remains medium-high by Italian standards, but none of the three cups we tried truly impressed us. We tasted three different blends (one of which was a Guatemalan, quite distant from the profile I'm usually familiar with). Prices range from €1.50 to €2.70 per coffee, for a total of €6.40 for three. The service was good, but nothing that would encourage us to return or buy beans or ground coffee to take home. A real shame: it could have seemed like a wonderful rediscovery, but the charm of the old Milan of coffee, the one that truly believed in it, seems a bit faded.

The way he grinds and prepares the coffee shows real passion and experience – every cup tastes special. He also works with amazing beans, high-quality origins that can suit every taste. A great specialty coffee spot! The staff are very friendly, and there’s a particularly nice guy who speaks excellent English and gives a great introduction to the different coffee bean varieties. They offer a wide selection, mostly medium to dark roasts, with a must-try Italian roast tradition. If you’re into coffee and nearby, definitely worth a visit.
