Torre della Botonta - Country House In Castel ritaldi

We booked while we were already on our way. We agreed on a check-in time upon arrival and were pleasantly surprised by its location. The property is located within the walls of an old castle/village. The rooms are spread throughout the village, while breakfast is served in a shared room where the very kind wife will show you the breakfast of your choice, made with their own local produce. The room was clean and fully equipped, even with a minibar. The only downside was that the room was a bit low, but thanks to the incredibly foggy weather and the short notice we gave, it gradually warmed up and was pleasant. The very friendly owners looked after us until our departure. The large parking lot just outside the surrounding wall is unguarded, but the area is very quiet, and right outside the front door you'll find a restaurant that's open almost 24/7 and serves traditional local cuisine.

I wanted to thank the owners, two very kind people who know how to do their job well. The wonderful place feels like being in another era. Highly recommended.

A fantastic place! It's not every day you get to stay in a real 14th-century castle!!! An experience worth trying, the owners are truly kind, and breakfast features homemade cakes. It's also lovely to wander around the area and relive the atmosphere of times gone by.

A charming place for those who want to relive the charm of the Middle Ages within the walls of a small village. The owners are incredibly kind and helpful. Not to mention the breakfast, which offers everything from sweet and savory to locally sourced produce. This is our second time here and we'll definitely be back.
