Toasteria Di Napoli In Trieste

For those coming to Trieste I highly recommend the Trattoria Di Napoli, welcoming staff and excellent traditional Neapolitan food.

First time in Trieste and I took inspiration from the reviews on the web. I ate really well. The parmigiana is good but the scialatielli even better. Finally a dish with clams and mussels not soaked in oil but, above all, the flavors were not covered by garlic. Excellent and friendly service. Compliments.

I was there on New Year's Eve, I can't say anything about the food, it was all excellent with affordable prices. The service was also good, they were very quick to bring the dishes. The only negative thing is that despite having booked at the beginning of the month they put us at a table in front of the doors, where every two minutes these doors were opened and we died from the cold. We asked if we had to stand in front of the doors and in response they told us that we were the last to book, even though there was an empty table and it was given to two customers who were passing through and didn't even book, instead of grant it to us with a reservation and who had already been inside the place for half an hour. It was a bit of an adventure on this side because my friend and I left the club cold. It's a shame about this because the service and food were excellent but they were very lost on this fact when they could very well have changed our table.

Although in the best location, a completely "normal" and wonderful restaurant without much chi-chi or exaggeration (at least in winter!)! Very friendly and really hard-working staff, nice atmosphere and really good cuisine - highly recommended!

Typical Neapolitan cuisine. Very generous portions resulting in exceptional value for money. Mixed fried fish of a very high standard. Absolute kindness from the dining room staff. Absolutely recommended.

During our family trip to Trieste, we decided to stop at this restaurant on Saturday evening. We didn't book a table in advance, but luckily there was still a place available. We ordered tuna, two types of pasta and salmon and everything was delicious, especially the tuna steak, medium rare. The relatively simple pasta (with potato and bacon) was made special by the impressive preparation - the chef finished it in front of us in a flaming parmesan disc! A light, fruity white wine was recommended for the fish dishes, which went perfectly. The service was excellent with friendly and attentive staff. Prices were reasonable in downtown Trieste, we paid 120 EUR for four person. Recommended.

Not bad, good food. Along the canal. A bit pricey as too many restaurants in this area.

Every time I stay in Trieste I stop to eat at this restaurant. The food is very good and we are well received.
