Tipsy In Macerata

05/04/2026: The place could potentially be beautiful, but the outside is a bit neglected and messy. Inside, however, it's very quaint and welcoming. There are a few details that could be improved, such as locking the bathroom doors, but overall, it's a nice place. The food, however, was a bit disappointing; perhaps we arrived with too high expectations. We would have liked the Florentine steak, but unfortunately it wasn't available, even though we were the second table to order and it was Easter Sunday. We opted for the rib-eye steak, but it was very sinewy and not at all tender. As for the first courses, the lamb ragù was excellent, while the green gnocchi were rather bland. The service was adequate but very cold, the waiters lacking empathy; a little more smile wouldn't hurt. The price was a bit high due to the meat, but overall, it was fair. Let's just say they left me with little emotion.
