Wonderful family style restaurant with lovely staff. The food was so good (especially the pastas!) that we ended up eating here 3 more times over the next few days.

Unfortunately, this rating is due to the fact that the place isn't air conditioned, and eating there for lunch was like being in a sauna. Obviously, things will be different in the evening and during other seasons, but I wouldn't recommend it for lunch in the summer. The service was friendly and the mixed fried fish was good.

I took 5 takeaway pizzas on Easter Monday evening, what can I say: my hoax "at the end of the day" looked like I was eating it at Sorbillo, thanks for making me dream with a few tears I must admit and nostalgia... congratulations

09/10/2025: I haven't eaten here for a long time, I have to say that some time ago they were much more similar to the pieces from Sicilian trattoria but today they are truly horrible, Neapolitan sandwiches all raw inside and hard and dry onions, they must have changed the rotisserie because the tavola calda is cooked at too high a temperature and not very leavened, the result is raw inside and dry and hard as a stone on the outside.

06/08/2025: Montechiarugolo... this little bar-bistro really surprised me with its roast beef, cooked just like your mother-in-law makes it... If you're passing by, stop by! 🤩
02/08/2025: This little bar, where we recently stopped after arriving in Montechiarugolo, is truly excellent. Arriving around 11:00 a.m., we ordered a macchiato and a coffee ☕, also opting for a brioche 🥐 and a Sicilian cannoli (delicious) that were beautifully displayed behind the counter. The staff were friendly, and the prices were reasonable. The bathrooms 🚽 were tidy. The location is strategic, given that the establishment is near the castle. I definitely recommend it 👍.
