TimeOut In Verona

12/11/2025: We ate here several times during our October holiday (2 adults, 1 dog). The service is quick and attentive. Very clean. Everyone is very friendly, and you feel welcome. I don't usually like pizza...but the pizza here is amazing. If you like thin, crispy crust and delicious toppings, this is the place for you. The Pizza Botanika was fantastic, incredibly tasty. Unfortunately, our enjoyment was somewhat dampened on the last evening, as everything in the back was set up for the next day, making it very noisy in the front. That wasn't so pleasant. At these prices, one should expect a nice atmosphere.

29/10/2025: The service team was friendly, and we got a table immediately. Food and drinks arrived relatively quickly, without a long wait. As they say, taste is subjective, and for our liking, it was average. We had a sausage and cheese platter as a starter, which was really tasty, but not enough for the price. I had pasta with mussels, and although I like my food well-seasoned, it was too salty, and the mussels weren't warm. Visually, I would have preferred to see at least some mussels on the pasta. My daughter's fries were quite good, my son's pizza was also good, my wife's chicken was okay, and the salad lacked a bit of zest. The cappuccino and espresso, however, were really good. The atmosphere was perfectly fine, considering it's a campsite. All in all, you can get a decent meal there, and I would go again, but I also think the prices are a bit too high overall.
