I didn't have the same experience as years ago. Besides the prices, many things have changed, including the quality. Nothing special. Excellent service, comfortable atmosphere, but poor vegetarian options.
The selection of cold cuts and sauces, however, is average.

We returned to Tigella Bella Sottoriva today after three years, with the sincere pleasure of rediscovering a place linked to an important moment in our lives: we celebrated our daughter's graduation here. A return that has become a full and gratifying confirmation.
Time has not diminished the soul of the restaurant; on the contrary, it has made it more mature and authentic. The artisanal tigelle remain the absolute protagonists, fragrant and authentic, as is the light and golden fried gnocco, capable of enhancing any accompaniment. The great attention to detail in selecting local ingredients is clearly evident, a cuisine that enhances tradition without distorting it, with balance and flavor.
Special praise goes to the owner, who truly knows what it means to welcome: a discreet presence, a sincere smile, and genuine care for the customer, qualities that are reflected in the entire staff: attentive, friendly, and professional. The atmosphere is serene, built on passion and respect for those who enter.
Also noteworthy is the impeccable cleanliness of the restaurant, a detail that is far from secondary and contributes decisively to the well-being and tranquility of the experience.
The selection of local wines and craft beers is excellent, expertly chosen to complement the dishes without overpowering them.
Finally, the setting: Sottoriva, one of the most charming corners of medieval Verona, with views of the Adige River, the Roman Theater, and Castel San Pietro, which adds a touch of poetry to every lunch or dinner.
Returning to Tigella Bella Sottoriva was more than just a meal: it was rediscovering an emotion, with the certainty that certain places, when guided by passion and authentic care, can endure over time.

Excellent experience, definitely worth repeating.
The food was well-prepared and offered a wide variety of dishes.
The icing on the cake was the owner: kind, friendly, lively, and above all passionate about his work. From start to finish, he looked after us with dedication and professionalism.
