The VIU Terrace In Milano

Clean rooms, rich breakfast buffet. Location next to tram stop into the city. But the highlight is the pool in the roof! A very good restaurant on the ground floor.

The Viu Milan has been spectacular! I’ve had the pleasure of spending 4 days here and am still enjoying every minute! Not only is it beautiful, but the staff has been fantastic. From my first step in the door I was greeted by the reservations manager Monica who welcomed me with open arms and we shared photos of our pets, she personally walked me to my room and greets me each time I come and go from the hotel! Beyond Monica the rest of the staff has followed suit. The bartenders are lovely all knowing me by name and sharing stories as I make friends with other guests. The food and drinks are delicious and prepared with much care and attention to detail. I will %100 be coming back when I visit Milan and highly recommended it ! Fabulous hotel feels like home ! A very fancy home ! 🩷

Wish I could give it 5 stars but there a few things to consider before booking your stay here: Positive aspects: - super clean and stylish rooms with all the features of a 5 star hotel - Gym and SPA area are impeccable - front desk generously gifted a substantial room upgrade at no extra cost - very good prosecco welcome gift with additional free coffee, bottled water and cookies each evening - staff is generally polite and well trained - special thanks to Natalie and Antonio (top floor terrace) - others can surely learn from them - ground floor restaurants and bar area are truly exceptional and prices are more than fair - overall good value for money, would consider staying here again Things to improve asap: - this place is ridiculously noisy due to surroundings (see below notes on negatives) and very poor sound insulation, windows have never been adjusted since the 2017 grand opening, you can find gaps between the frames! I did mention this to the front desk, hopefully the issue will be remediated in the future, perhaps during the next renovation - except for the beautiful view, the breakfast is nowhere near a 5 star experience - and I'm choosing my words carefully here Negatives: - bordering China Town, the area is anything but select, central or quiet - consider taking an Uber in the evenings and a tram ride during the day

I have nothing else to give but my utmost thanks for the absolutely astounding service offered by the gracious staff at Viu Milan. They exceeded above and beyond any calls for hospitality and have truly set the absolute standard for me for what it means to extend hospitality as if one were family. From the moment we stepped in the door to the moment we left we were extremely well cared for with empathy and kindness. The trip ended with the front manager frantically calling taxis firing up every single terminal available to him calling 3 taxis simultaneously because we had a train to catch and our luggage was too large. You have my perpetual thanks as an astounding highlight of our trip to Milan

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent hotel, with a little advice to achieve perfection We stayed at the Viu Milan and the experience was really positive. The location of the hotel is strategic, ideal for those who want to enjoy the heart of Milan, and the panoramic rooftop is truly spectacular, with a breathtaking view of the city which alone is worth the stay. The service was impeccable: the arrival was managed with great professionalism, from the kind and helpful valet, to the staff who took care of the suitcases directly in the room. The style of the hotel is modern and with attention to the smallest details, conveying a feeling of luxury and comfort. However, being used to staying in top-level facilities in Italy and abroad, we would like to give constructive advice regarding breakfast. We noticed a somewhat confusing and not very attentive staff, and the display of the buffet was a little poor. Furthermore, many of the options had to be ordered separately and some of these were paid, which surprised us considering the standard of the hotel and the costs of the stay. Given the excellence of the rest of the services, we would expect a richer and more organized breakfast, to better reflect the prestige of this structure. Overall, the Viu Milan remains an excellent choice for those seeking elegance, comfort and a unique view of Milan. Very good hotel with a super chic/boutique feel to it. POSITIVES -Room was clean, bed was comfortable -Probably because of my Marriott status, but I was upgraded to a suite -They very kindly sent me a small chocolate amenity, which I appreciated -Front desk hustled to get me in my room even though I arrived before their check-in time and was attentive to ensure it got done before I had a meeting AREAS OF ATTENTION -My shower didn't drain properly, but I only stayed there 1 night so I didn't alert them (though I took 2 showers so I probably should have) -Main living room of the suite was very dark, even the most lighting. -I contacted management (twice) ahead of time, as I usually do, but they oddly didn't respond
