A very unique atmosphere in true Irish style, excellent beer, well-tasted, and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend the Guinness, as in my opinion it's the best around. One last tip: make a reservation if you want to eat in. I personally had the pulled pork sandwich, flavored with Guinness, and it was fabulous.

Fish & Chips and Irish steak sandwich were not impressive, after the first one I even had heartburn 😰 Only the jacket potatoes and onion rings are really worth a try as an appetizer to the wide range of great beers 🍺

I found a nice and pleasant atmosphere with some friends and we stayed there to eat burgers made by them, the food was good, the beer was good, the staff were not all in particular, only one that didn't leave a good impression on me, the place was good.

02/06/2026: We used a Baci Perugina voucher at this restaurant. We chose lake fish dishes, which were delicious, but they also offer meat and vegetarian options. The restaurant has a lakeside terrace where you can watch the sunset. The staff were very friendly and offered suggestions for appetizers. Generous portions and excellent prices.

07/07/2026: The food was good and very reasonably priced for the area. Thomas's service was excellent. The downsides were the abundance of mosquitoes and the prevalence of smoking. Otherwise, it's a great place to dine.
04/07/2026: This was the most vivid impression I had at Varenna. Everything was delicious, even exquisite. The restaurant is only open for lunch and dinner. Make sure you book a table in advance or be prepared to wait—it's worth it.
