Sabrina

First time at this place. The furniture and accessories have a vintage feel, full of objects, devices, things from the years gone by, as well as a large quantity of mostly old books scattered here and there, even on the tables. If we frame all this in a certain perspective, style, creativity etc... I believe that the overall style will be liked and widely appreciated, both as a testimony to habits and customs of the past and perhaps recalling old memories or more simply a look at some historical notes, otherwise there is the risk of finding it a place for serial hoarders where the disorder and things placed here and there make no sense and might not be liked. It left me wondering about the cleanliness of all these things. Once the place was presented, ours was a simple drink, a small aperitif to get to know the new place. The choice of aperitifs such as alcoholic drinks is very limited, in the proposed menu, I think there were 6 or a little more, while if you want to opt for wines it is "exterminated" (wide choice, retail sale even of bottles, as it is a wine shop). We order a Moscow Mule and a portion of croutons.
The service was interpreted in a kind and punctual way in serving the drink, while perhaps too slow in serving the croutons.
The drink was served in a pleasant glass of copper or other metal, with flowering mint leaf. All good aesthetics and flavor.
The crostini served in a saucer on a bed of rocket leaves. 5 in number and small (I think thin Superpan baguette), not roasted or seared, seasoned on top with mixed ingredients that I would say are of excellent quality and tasty (we recognized Genoese pesto and almonds, one with olive cream and red pepper, one with something based on fish, one with peppers and one with caramelized onion (?), a small portion of large capers completed the dish). Very pleasant, but the crunchiness we expected from crostini was missing.
The environment allows you to talk peacefully without difficulty or loud music/TV, a quality we appreciated. The presence of a cat who even climbed onto the legs of the person who was with me warmed up the atmosphere and allowed for some photos. The staff were available to take the cat away if it posed a nuisance, but there was no need.
The bill seems adequate to me, 10 euros for what we got.
I would recommend it and we plan to try it next time also to consume something more than a small aperitif.
