What a lovely little restaurant tucked away in Venice. After finding our way through a maze of streets, we stumbled across what can only be described as an escape from normalcy in a gorgeous setting.
We were promptly greeted by an amazing host who told us we can choose from two different menus or we could simply do whatever we wanted and select dishes from either or both. What fun!
We decided to do à la carte and have a little fun. While I swear our 4 course meal turned into something more like 17, we never wanted or lacked for food. At this volume, a couple of bites here and there may have been hit or miss but the reality is overall it was such a strong showing.
They also provided a fantastic wine pairing, asking what part(s) of the world you wanted to enjoy! Additionally, they created a non-alcoholic pairing as well. You can’t beat the pairing that came in the most amazing hand blown glass with a kissy fish face.
Ultimately it left us with a sense of happiness, fulfillment, and a little bit of relaxation on our vacation to Venice. Highly recommend.

We centered our entire trip to Venice around dining at Glam, and it was meant to be the highlight of my wife’s 40th birthday. From the moment we arrived, we were overwhelmed by the elegance of the setting and the warmth of the service.
Our evening began with cocktails in a room fit for royalty, accompanied by a beautifully curated selection of small bites to awaken the palate. We then moved to the restaurant for the main experience and my goodness, the artistry and flavors were simply extraordinary. Every course was a masterpiece, paired perfectly with a wonderful wine recommended by the sommelier.
However, partway through the meal, my wife unexpectedly fell ill. The staff could not have been more compassionate or professional. They immediately offered her hot water with honey, a comfortable place to rest in the courtyard, and genuine concern for her wellbeing. When it became clear we needed to end the evening early, I approached the team to pay for our meal and, to my astonishment, they gently refused any payment.
Their kindness left us truly speechless. My wife has a genetic heart condition which is usually well controlled, but on rare occasions she experiences atrial fibrillation unfortunately, it happened on this special night. The empathy and understanding shown by the team at Glam turned what could have been a difficult memory into one of gratitude and admiration.
Yes, Glam absolutely deserves its two Michelin stars for its extraordinary cuisine and artistry but just as importantly, it is run by people with genuine heart. We will most certainly be back.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary by dining at Glam in Venice, Italy. It was nothing short of extraordinary—a true Venetian masterpiece orchestrated by Chef Enrico Bartolini and his remarkable team. Our “Tasting” experience was inspired by “The Lagoon,” and every course reflected the delicate balance of flavors, textures, and artistry one would expect at the very highest levels of fine dining.
From the very first bite, we were captivated. Each dish told a story of Venice, elegantly bridging tradition with innovation. The flavors were exceptional—refined yet soulful—and the presentation was a feast for the eyes as much as the palate. What elevated the evening even further were the thoughtful surprises the Chef and staff incorporated throughout the night, going well beyond our already high expectations given Glam’s prestigious reputation.
The service was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive—and the staff’s genuine warmth added to the overall sense of our celebration. The highlight of the evening was when Chef Bartolini himself came out to greet us personally, sharing his gratitude and passion. That moment transformed an exquisite dinner into a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Glam is more than just a restaurant—it’s a destination, a memory, and a perfect expression of Venetian culinary artistry. If you have the opportunity to dine here, seize it. It will stay with you forever.

We had a magical evening enjoying the Glam Classico tasting menu. The palazzo is very beautiful. The dishes were outstanding and so lovely to look at. We appreciated the moments of whimsy. The service was terrific and we appreciated the sommelier’s selection of delicious local wines to go with the courses along the way at our request since we couldn’t drink 10 different pairings. We are so glad to have experienced this 2-star Michelin restaurants focus on the local produce, meat and seafood of Veneto. It was a love letter to the region.

The place turned out to be a special occasion for a family lunch. The location on Venice's Grand Canal is enchanting, with a courtyard/garden overlooking the water, where you can begin this experience of Venetian tastings and cuisine. Everything was top-notch, meeting, confirming, and sometimes exceeding the legitimate expectations this event had created. The atmosphere was relaxed, very quiet, with attention to detail; you immediately felt at ease, which is not a given. The service was impeccable (special thanks to Ottavio and his staff), attentive throughout, never intrusive, and even ready with a few jokes and helpful advice between explanations of the splendid gastronomic journey. The dishes were excellent. Kudos to chef Donato Ascani, who manages to masterfully enhance even dishes with seemingly simple (so-called humble) local and traditional Venetian ingredients. The effect of the "wasabi tubes" was surprising, just to name one example. A truly positive experience, congratulations.

The restaurant is truly unique. Beautifully decorated, with an elegant atmosphere and only six tables.
The staff deserves top marks. From the restaurant manager to the sommelier, right down to the waiters, I must say everyone has an impeccable attitude. They pampered us from start to finish, making our evening unique.
The dishes on the Glam menu are all superb.
The price is definitely worth the experience.

This was a superb dining experience - from the warmest of greetings on our arrival by boat by the delightful Elena, to the most relaxing experience sitting in the garden overlooking the canal with our aperitifs. The kitchen performed extraordinarily well, producing a series of thoughtfully orchestrated, beautifully presented, and diversely flavoured dishes. The fish and meat were perfectly cooked; succulent and well positioned to absorb their surrounding creative juices. We opted for the Arte, orti e laguna tasting menu. Drawing extensively on the natural resources of the lagoon and wider locality, this is a signature Venetian culinary experience. The wine pairing was carefully considered and well sourced, often from small Italian wine producers; I thank Augusto for his energising, yet empathetic and informed, suggestions - he is to be applauded. The desserts were strong, but did lack some of the high degree of ingenuity which was a hallmark of the previous courses. They are currently being rethought, and we can expect only the most surprising of delights going forward. However, this did not detract from the overall culinary enjoyment across numerous courses. And, beyond the quality of the ingredients and the cooking, this was simply the most fun we have had in a Michelin star restaurant - clearly down to the esoteric personality and bold confidence of the chef, Donato Ascani (no doubt to some extent empowered and inspired by Enrico Bartolini). We were actively encouraged to "play with our food" - hunting for foie gras wafers hidden in a rosemary bush, discovering our favourite sand smelt sauce, gathering up our utterly delicious sea snail piadini with our fingers - the piadini delicately rolled to resemble the most elegant of Moo Shu - and mopping up sauces with the restaurant's moreish freshly baked bread. The staff added to the enjoyment, complementing the highest level of professionalism with an ease of engagement. By far, the most exciting meal we have had in Venice. We will be back!

The generosity with which this place welcomes you is incredible: through the cast-iron gate, you enter a beautiful courtyard, then walk through the magnificent palazzo to linger in one of the few gardens directly on the Grand Canal! The cuisine and service are impeccable, making this the first address in the Serenissima.

By far, the most beautiful gastronomic experience we have ever had.
Arriving a little early, we were invited to enjoy a drink on the back terrace before heading into the dining room, where, due to last-minute cancellations, we could have thought we had reserved the entire venue.
The wine pairing orchestrated by the Maître d'hôtel & Sommelier is of rare quality, as is his presence. I highly recommend it; generous, with niche products, beautiful complexity, perfectly suited to the dishes. And all this for an excellent value for money given the service provided.
The dishes were all (with one tiny exception) a true delight for the taste buds. And here again, we find, as in the wine selection, cuisine of finesse, a palette of flavors of rare quality.
Everything was perfect, the occasions where I was able to praise a starred or non-starred establishment so highly over the last 10 years can be counted on the fingers of one hand.
