A Marvellous Time at Glam – Culinary Art in Venice Glam is a true two-star Michelin gem in the heart of Venice. We had a Marvellous time here – an experience as memorable as it was delicious! Chef Donato Ascani is a fountain of creativity, and each plate is a perfect fusion of culinary artistry and visual beauty – like edible paintings. One of the highlights was a stunning seiche (cuttlefish) from the lagoon, a cold soup of local herbs and delicate edible flowers – an ode to the territory. The welcome bites were plentiful, refined, and bursting with flavor. Every element, from the amuse-bouches to the desserts, confirmed the two-star Michelin rating is more than deserved. Thank you to Chef Ascani and his brilliant team for such a delightful evening. Another outstanding address under the guidance of the ever-impressive Chef Enrico Bartolini.

Chef Donato's dishes are incredible: the main ingredient, however humble, like asparagus, snow peas or sea bass, is enhanced by the ingredients that accompany it and create a new flavor with it, faithful to the original, but revealing its most beautiful side, sometimes playful, always refined and focused, and I don't know how, always simple. Like when someone who has understood everything manages to explain a complex concept with the right example, when others have to make it very difficult to tell you the same thing. The same mastery is found in the wine pairings, selected and explained by another champion, Maître Sommelier Ottavio. The service is impeccable and precise, but not artificial, everyone was ready to smile, pleasant and welcoming.

Fourth time in four years. Every year a crescendo of perfection, quality, taste, elegance, service, professionalism. I left wondering if it might be possible to further improve the level achieved. In my opinion, it will be very difficult to do better, because beyond the maximum I don't know if there is anything beyond. Donato Ascani and Ottavio Venditto are the golden couple of Italian cuisine. Let's enjoy them while they work in Venice!

We celebrated our engagement here. It was honestly the best service we have ever experienced. The food was incredible, the staff was amazing and kind. I cannot emphasize enough what a perfect restaurant this was!!! A must-go in Venice!

Ristorante bellissimo. L’aspettativa era alta, e nonostante sia un ristorante da 2 stelle ci siamo sentiti coccolati e a casa. Ottavio è un maitre e sommelier pazzesco! I piatti un capolavoro sia alla vista e sia al gusto. Le acquadelle in salse sembrava un dipinto. Tutto estremamente meraviglioso. Grazie allo Chef e Grazie per la splendida serata, torneremo con piacere.

Lo positivo fue que realmente disfrutamos mucho de los platos, y el servicio fue formal y atento. Pero el restaurante no tiene vibra. Tiene solo unas pocas mesas en una habitación algo pequeña. La comida dura de 3 a 4 horas o más. Aunque en realidad disfrutamos de la mayor parte de la comida y pensamos que el servicio era bueno, simplemente no era nuestro ambiente, y simplemente tomó demasiado tiempo! Otra pareja sentada en una mesa junto a nosotros estaba lamentando la duración de la comida también. Si había algo de ambiente en el lugar y aceleraron el servicio, lo recomendaría. De lo contrario es una falta para nosotros. Si usted es un alimento hasta la médula y puede sentarse en una habitación tranquila durante más de 4 horas comiendo, este puede ser un buen lugar para que pruebe.
